The Autumn Tour 2016 is Over

🤘🏼🔥🇨🇿🇩🇪🇵🇱🔥🤘🏼

That was very fast and awesome! During last crazy days we made really nice gigs in Berlin, Hamburg, Krakow and Prague! And we also performed some acoustic concerts on streets for the first time! Big step for us 😃

This tour was incredibly usefull for us as we finally got a chance to talk with each other not only about music and fun but also discuss some very important private things of each. We realised how much we missed being not only a collegues, but also best friends. So, we wish you to spend more time with those people who are important for you.

The Void Tour Started Off!

We’ve played our first concert in Zyrardow and man, it was awesome!  Actually, many people came and they were jumping, singing and having fun! We were taking photos, having beers, talking and damn it was like meeting all our friends at once :)

It was a pleasure as always to play at Centrum Kultury and it is definitely not the last time we visit it ;)

Ho-ho-ho! 2016 is coming!

2015 has been somewhat challenging but still incredibly interesting. We;ve recorded The Void, our first full album, found a manager who’s been quite effective so far (hehehe kidding) and performed at numerous concerts and festivals. 

It has been hell lots of fun and hard work and we are grateful for every moment that we spent on our music. So here is to new beginnings in 2016!

Thank you so much for being with us and supporting our band for all this time. May 2016 be even more awesome for you and don’t stop rocking!

Что мы усвоили в качестве инди-группы

Быть инди-группой одновременно круто и тяжело. На пути музыкантов полно колдобин, про которые не упоминается в справочнике “Как Стать Супер-Стар”. Да и справочника такого тоже нет, в принципе. Многие вещи мы учим по ходу дела, запоминая на будущее, и потому мы хотели бы поделиться парой таких вещей с вами. Возможно, кому-то это поможет :)

- иногда музыканты на фестивали отбираются на пару лет вперед

Звучит очевидно, но тем не менее. И вроде бы еще только декабрь, и вроде бы до лета еще много времени, но вот тебе в почту падает письмо “извините, мы уже выбрали артистов вплоть до 2017 года”. Признаться,это вводит в некую растерянность. Что делать на будущее? Писать  за пару лет вперед? Но в почту также приходит письмо “извините, но мы пока не знаем, будет ли проводиться фестиваль”. Так что в вопросе фестивалей нужно проявлять недюжинную гибкость и отчасти надеяться на везение.

- зарубежные клубы не плачут от счастья при виде вашего письма

Если вы хотите пробиться в зарубежные клубы и площадки, будьте готовы к молчанию, отказам и расплывчатым ответам. В той стране, где вы хотите выступить, тоже много групп, и все они хотят того же, что и вы - быть услышанными. Получается довольно серьезная конкуренция, а учитывая, что языком страны вы можете не владеть...Иногда очки не в вашу пользу. И это тоже нормально. Этого не стоит бояться.

- Иногда мейлы в “одну строчку” работают лучше нагруженных

Вежливость это прекрасно. Также считается, что представление себя тоже важно и что при отправке письма незнакомым людям стоит это учитывать.

Сперва наши письма были довольно обширными. Мы представлялись, давали ссылки на музыку и видео, описывали стиль и био. И это работало, мягко говоря, слабо. Эксперимента ради мы решили написать пару писем в духе “Привет, можно забронировать ваш клуб?” И, черт возьми, ответы были. Тем не менее, это не уникальная волшебная формула. Все это очень относительно и в первую очередь, стоит обращать внимание на приписки адресатов. Некоторые просят только ссылки, другие хотят полную информацию. Не игнорируйте такие приписки, и ваши шансы получить ответ вырастут :)

Learning is hard. Especially for a band

Since we are a DIY-band, we are learning everything by ourselves. We don’t have a magician standing behind our backs and telling us what we have to do. There are no guides on “How To Be Awesome Superstar”. And thus we wanna share what we got so far :) Maybe it will help other indie musicians out there.

- festivals may be booked for couple years ahead

Yeah, it’s common knowledge, but for us it still was a bit unexpected. Lesson learned - think way far in advance

- no one will just book a concert for you on the base that you are awesome

International bands will face hard times when booking venues abroad. If you are not Fred Durst or Jimmy Page, be ready that foreign club owners will take their time replying to you. Or maybe they will not and you will send couple more emails to eventually get a “no thanks we are full”. And again, think in advance

- Overloaded emails are not working out

At first our emails were quite full and informative. We used to give few links, explain who we are, explain our style...Now an email like “Hey can we book your club?” works much better (to our surprise), even though it’s not 100% accurate

А у нас вчера была фотосессия! Делимся бэком :)

Вообще, на пятницу у нас запланирована большая и вкусная новость, которая включает в себя обновление наших фотографий. Так что следите за обновлениями, а пока наслаждайтесь видом из-за кулис :) Было очень весело и позитивно! Спасибо нашему фотографу Володе, который мужественно вытерпел три часа под наши шуточки “ниже пояса”, ты просто молодчина. А еще мы малость налажали с дым-машиной и задымили к чертям все помещение :D
