Since today is actually trans visibility day, here’s a mashup. On the far left was me 5 years ago doing the Ultraman pose in Japan for the first time in what was then 10 years since moving to the states. The picture in the middle was me a month or two in on hormones. Lastly we have the picture I took at the beginning of February when I had my consultation for breast augmentation. I realized my true identity during one of the most chaotic times in my life almost 4 years ago. Since that moment I’ve made it my mission to be the most authentic version I can be and that I was going to live for no one but me. I spent almost a year and a half research omg everything I could about transitioning. Starting changing my appearance and so forth. In August of 2017 I started HRT and my November the same year I started working my first job (at apple) since having a stroke 2 years prior. Here I stand now after over 20 months of HRT, on my course of having vaginoplasty and breast augmentation at the end of the year, happier and more accomplished than I’ve ever allowed myself to be.
