Weightloss Update
February 11, 2019
I have had a rough time lately, I've lost practically all of my motivation. I am still working out a few times a week, but I want to get it back to daily. I need to hit a lot more cardio so I can really start losing pounds. I'm ready for the results and it's hard having them happen so slowly. I can do it, I just can't do it on my own, I'm trying to find an accountability partner. I need someone to push me on my weak days, someone I can push on their weak days.
Weightloss Update
January 18, 2019
We didn't have a weekly weigh in this week due to possible bad weather so I weighed Thursday morning instead. I was down to 240.4lbs which is almost three whole pounds down from last week! I had kind of a rough week, I didn't eat very well compared to what I know I can, and I didn't push myself very hard in my workouts. I'm not letting it get me down, I'm just going to get up, dust myself off and keep going. Yesterday (thursday) I hit a really hard workout and felt great about it. Even better, I did 60 (3 sets of 20) of my least favorite exercise, lunges, and am nowhere near as sore as I was last time I did that. So I know I am improving! Today I did 20 full sit ups, not crunches, without anything to hold my feet down and I almost cried. It's going to be rough. But I know that I can do this if I keep trying!
I'm going to start trying to put an overall journey recap at the bottom of each post to remind myself how far I have come.
Starting: 263.4
This week's loss: 243.2-240.4= 2.8lb loss
Total loss: 23lbs

These are about a month apart. The difference isn't huge, especially scale wise, but I'm still proud. I had a bit of a rough patch towards the end of January but I'm still proud of what I've accomplished. I'm excited to keep pushing, if I can get little results like this every month, it will add up to big results over time. I can't wait to see where I will be by my birthday in July!
Weightloss Update
September 12, 2018
It's been a couple weeks since I updated. Last week disn't go well at all. I wasn't eating well at all and didn't get myself moving. I ended up with over a 4lb gain. Luckily this week I did my best to get myself back on track and ended up with a 3.2lb loss. I decided that on Monday (the 17th) I'm going to start a month of drinking nothing but water. I'm hoping that cutting out the sugars and bad things from other beverages will make a difference in my weightloss. I also am determined to quit smoking in the near future so wish me luck!

Another meeting means another mile in the books. This time I brought it down another 10 seconds to make it 12:49. Not only did I cut my mile time down I lost 2.8lbs!! I couldn't be happier with all that I'm achieving in my life right now!
Time for an update!!
In May I talked about how my medication has helped me a lot with my weightloss. It has continued doing so with great results. Lets start from the most important one: my blood pressure. It’s the reason why I decided to write an update today.
I noticed a year ago that my blood pressure was higher than normal, especially my diastolic which was constantly over 90, on a bad days over 100 which is not normal. I measured my blood pressure at work and at home, even during holidays to rule out stress. My values varied from 140/110 to 120/90 and those values for a “healthy” woman in her mid twenties are not normal. My diastolic pressure never went to under 90 and I was worried. It was the main reason why I decided to actually lose weight. It wasn’t because I wasn’t happy with how I looked (even though it was a huge factor) but it was my health that made me take action.
I’ve been avoiding taking my blood pressure for a while because I was scared that it would still be high. Today I took it for the first time in months. It was 108/77 and another time i took it 117/82. Perfectly normal! The first time i’ve seen my diastolic pressure under 90!! So happy with this. Haven’t been controlling my blood sugar but maybe I should. I am so relieved.
Then about my weight. I also reached a new milestone today which inspired me to do this post. I have lost exactly 10kgs since April and 12kgs from last Christmas! Huge achievement. I can fit into my old clothes again. I feel so much better physically and mentally.
Starting weight 2021 January
80,8kg (178lbs)
Current weight 2021 October
68,8kg (152lbs)
Total loss

I am almost at my goal weight which is 65kg (143lbs)
