Does white noise for anyone else turn into faint music?

I’m sleeping upstairs in a rehabbed attic and the window air conditioner blows all night. It mixes with outdoor noises and becomes very faint music in my ears. Tonight it’s like a music box. Last night it was country guitar.

So yeah, I read up on it and it’s a known phenomenon, but I’ve never heard of anyone else it happens to.

And for the record sometimes ambient noises, especially when I’m falling asleep or at night, can sound like distant conversational voices, a rise and fall just out of range for distinct words. I dream about that sometimes, conversations I can’t figure out in the next room.

I really struggle to accept any sort of acknowledgement towards my feelings, whether it be an apology or whatever else. A lot of time I have issues perceiving my own emotions, plus I struggle to process whether I my feelings towards a person / situation / thing / etc. are "valid" or "justified" enough. So a lot of the time I just say "it's fine"...even if it's not? I'm never sure if it really is or not. It's easiest for me to just brush it off and drop it rather than expend energy on untangling whether I'm right to be "upset" over something, whether my upset is actually unjustified and causing harm or not, etc. though it's not the healthiest. Ehhhghh?????????????????

I had a dream that the Belos chunk that came over to the human realm on Hunter entered Hunter's mouth while he was asleep, causing Hunter terrible stomach pain, and the chunk started copying his DNA to try revive himself in a way.

So, random late night thought. The Trials and mutagens obviously change things but don't necessarily magically "fix" everything. So imagine a Witcher with ADHD. Sensory overload would definitely be an even BIGGER issue.

I found myself thinking that treatment would likely be micro doses of Fisstech, as an equivalent medication. And that's an odd thought. Not only that, but a Witcher tolerance would mean higher than human doses. Would such a Witcher get a reputation of being a Fisstech addict, just to be able to function at something resembling "normal"?

Lately whenever I think of a fic/AU, it gets written by someone else and then I get nervous to write it because I don't want anyone to think I'm copying them 😅

so here's a fun thing that happens to me daily (and actually I don't mind this one but I'm still pretty sure it's not quite normal)

I wake up with songs in my head.

and that sounds entirely normal but it's not just upon waking I think of a song and it's in my brain. I wake up half way through songs and sometimes I don't even know what song it is, I know the tune and lyrics and I have to Google it which is what happened today.

I've started making a playlist of all the songs that i wake up with circling my brain and it's the weirdest mix but today's one has absolutely stumped me because

1. I don't like it

2. I don't really know it

3. I haven't heard it in years
