Soooooo….. I was bored and going through my notes cause why not and just what is this???
So I was cleaning some stuff in my room when I found an old little pocket not book from when was in university, if the one essay note jotted down is any indication. The notebook’s primary purpose was to get down ideas either on the bus or in bed if I woke up in the middle of the night. All well and good, mostly normal stuff.
BUT THEN
We get into the weird territory. “Like, how fucking sleep deprived was I?” half nonsense half existential dread and philosophy phrases, in my writing, so clearly I wrote them, that I can’t for the life of me remember ever writing or what in the hell they mean. Self. Self were you okay? What did those essays do to you?
A sample of the madness:
“The noodle wraps around the world and engulfs eternity” (what is this? Was I trying to write something about Jörmungandr and forgot what a snake was called? Was I going mad from one too many speghetti dinners in a row at the dining hall? What?EXPLAIN SELF, EXPLAIN!)
“Humanity cowers in fear when the moon will speak her secrets” (???!!!)
And the a little less ominously cryptic, but no less confusing “Voldemort pumpkin fish”
Can someone please lend me a time machine so I can go find university me, knock her out and tuck in bed because I don’t think she should have been left to her own devices.
someone tell me why i have had a cheap version of old town road in my notes for almost a year
Writing a story to try and find the best way to do a character by writing it twice is - a choice.
The 'Schuylkill Notes' continue to be found in grocery stores..
And now they are getting a little more threatening than before..
