Walking past the person that used to be my ride or die 3 years ago and pretending she doesn't exist is WEIRD man.

(Rant below the cut because idk how else to sort out my feelings and I'm posting it here because why not??? None of my girls use tumblr either way sooo)

Like. No. I don't like her. She said she thinks my gender identity and my best friends sexual orientation is "very very wrong". She genuinely believes i should not be allowed to be who i am. That he should not be allowed to date whoever the fuck he wants.

She would constantly make comments about how absurd and shocking it is that I got a girlfriend before she got a boyfriend (because in her world, I'll never be a boy, so I'm still a lesbian to her. and how could I, a "Lesbian", a queer person, ever find love before her, who's straight?)

She purposefully told me to my face that I'll never look like a real boy when she KNEW that I didn't identify as a girl.

She made me feel like garbage for just being who I was and loving who I loved for YEARS with her little comments, her expressions, and just entire attitude, and I heavily disliked her for it.

But she was also the girl who walked up to me on the first day of 4th grade, because I didn't have any friends to be with, and asked if I wanted to play with her.

I spent every single day after school at her house for over a year. I learnt how to be more social and speak to people thanks to her. She tried her level best to cheer me up anytime I was upset, and she listened to what I had to say.

She was my best friend, at some point. I spent 5 years with her. She was everything to me, at some point. And now it's all gone.

Which is weird. I used to talk to her every day and now we don't speak at all. Don't acknowledge each other in the corridor. Don't even look at each other. If my friend and I sit at a table she walks the other way. If she's in a room me my friend and I make a U-turn and leave.

It's just WEIRD. I'm not even really upset. I didn't like her. But I couldn't hate her. It's weird weird weird weird weird weird weird weird weird weird
