For some reason whenever I hit my depressive week before my period I get really manic about wanting a tattoo. Weirdest pms craving ever.
AIO for being weirded out about how my Mom gets when my girlfriend is over?
So I (19M) have been dating my GF, L (21F) for almost a year. She's amazing and beautiful and my parents love her, which is awesome! But for the past month or so, whenever she's over at my place (context, I live with my parents atm. The economy is shit.) my mom (late 40s, F) has been acting really strange. She gets really huffy about behaving like a gentleman whenever she's over, whispering harshly in my ear to get her a glass of water or to walk her out. I've talked to L about this, and she's perfectly fine with me not doing those things- she doesn't need me to be all chivalrous. I haven't talked to my mom about this yet but it's really bothering me. So, AIO?

Top comment: “I can perhaps understand feeling a little off balance, but "weirded out"? YOR.”
Notable explanation: “YOR your mom is trying to teach you how to show up in a relationship. Maybe you’re defensive about your mom pointing these things out or just would rather be left alone and figure them out on your own, but she is coming from a good place and you could benefit from them. You’re still very young so you have a lot to learn and it’s important that you stay open to learning. However, if she’s only pointing out what you’re doing wrong and not being encouraging, it can feel more nagging than constructive. I think having a conversation about this with your mom would be good. I know it’s hard to see her outside of being your mom but she is a woman who had experiencing dating. While you might not understand why everything she’s telling you is important, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to understand why.”

So I have already clarified if he knows who I am and I know who he is. We both go to the same college and he is two years older than me, but he says that he would be too #weirded out to meet me because we dont have any classes together and because he only talks to people his age. What is up with this #guy? Does he #like me? What should I do?
