Ima show him how to make a pound cake...
Throwing this here cause i forgot
dude i think i tricked myself into thinking that mondo gecko canonically had two moms
Okay well,,, if you think about it,,, if mondo starts out gecko,,, a lot of female geckos actually like mimic intercourse with eachother and do literally make babies that way so in a round about way there is a non zero chance that the gecko &/or little mondo had two mothers in some way
Yo dudes and dudettes!!!! im back!!!! here are some WIPs and some other doodles because my brain is only mondo
(more under cut)
Hello dudes i am NOT dead, as proof here are some recent turtles with my 2003 Mondo designz too
Mondo is a crestie because i said so btw
IM HELLING IT
WE are helling it.
how do u go about designing pirate costumes for characters?
This is kinda a difficult question for me because i'm not exactly the best character designer out there, but i can give you a few pointers!
I always collect a whole bunch of images that i like of different cosplayers or movie characters or older drawings and kind of play dress up with whatever character i'm making. If its a pre existing character (like the dc villians i made a little while back for example) then i also gather outfits of theirs as well and try to match their vibe or color scheme. For example! going back to my dc pirates again, The Penguin was always known for a monocle, and i always would draw him with one, but REALISTICALLY a pirate character would not wear that i felt, so i swapped it out for an eyepatch instead.
One of the other big factors in designing costumes is wether or not i want to draw something over and over lol, i despise drawing hats most times, so i would not give all of my characters a hat unless i really thought it was fitting for the character and whatnot. Now obviously you have to get a little uncomfortable with pirate stuff because stereotypically (thought not historically really) pirates are super eccentric and flashy in nature, we can thank Captain Jack Sparrow for that.
And i suppose if i could say anything else about it it would be to just have fun man, i usually like making things 'accurate' and can be a perfectionist about designing things but at the end of the day if the outfit looks cool it just looks cool yk? But yeah thats all i've got for you at this moment.
