There’s probably hunting gear in here
So like in the meantime we’ve been looking around the storage unit. It’s a little weird, not gonna lie. It’s actually kinda dark so we’re using the flashlight on our phones to light up inside the storage unit, right? And we saw the walls and there are so many pictures pinned onto it. Like they’re not in any order but still they’re really messy. Jenny thinks they’re of a family, but honestly I don't think the people in the pics look that similar. Sure, they’ve all got brown hair and stuff but they don’t seem like they’re related. And it’s only one or two people in each pic so yeah. But anyway, we look around some more and we see thick ropes, like thinner than those kinds you use for tug of war but still pretty thick, we see the black plastic bags. Not gonna lie I’m just a little creeped out but Jenny just keeps looking through the stuff. It’s pretty quiet inside the storage unit. I can’t even really hear the wind blowing outside. Jenny’s found a saw. Nice. We took turns holding it, I was surprised that it’s heavier than it looks. There’s no table or anything in here but there’s like this shelf with all the tools we think they’re for hunting. And there’s this smell in here, but we don’t know what it is. Like it actually smells really bad if u smell it hard enough, it’s a little more faint in general but theres this corner of the storage unit where it smells really bad. It’s probably rotting wood or something? That’s what Jenny says. I don’t actually know what rotting wood smells like but I honestly don’t feel like wood can make that kinda smell u know?
Jenny was giggling as she came out with scary theories about who the owner of this storage unit was. It’s honestly getting kinda cold in here, I think after the sun fully sets it’s gonna be even colder. Ugh where's Jeff. Ok, anyway, I mean it’s kind of cool in here but I’m a little bored now. We’re supposed to be down by the river if u remember from my last post and it’s honestly a bit of a walk from here too so. Sigh. We’re just waiting for the doors to open now. I think we’ve seen enough hahah. Come on Jefffff hurry upppp.
I know I’ve always been the more cautious one when I heard a subtle rustling of crunching leaves and I knew that someone was probably very close by. I’m hearing the crunching of leaves get louder outside so I told Jenny that Jeff was probably here and we got all excited. And there was a lot of grunting when the door was getting opened. Jenny and I giggled cuz we knew it was gonna take Jeff a little while to get the door open and we weren’t about to help him cuz it was funnier to see him struggling. But it opened a lot faster than we thought, honestly. It was like 10 seconds. So yeah, that didn’t last long and we were near the opposite side of the wall and Jenny and I kinda just stood there and waited for him to come in so we could show him all the cool and creepy stuff that was in here. I’ll update y’all on his reactions and stuff later.
