Gosh, this takes me back...I was into Carciphona from ages 15-16, roughly, but...eventually the plot and all that waiting got kinda dry. I looked back at it at some point a few years later and I still found only one scene, out of like half a volume, even resembling the plot moving forward -_- But I absolutely admire Shilin as an artist, and I’d encourage checking out her DA (shilin) or Tumblr (okolnir, I think)...especially shoujo-ai fans (*cough* @yuri-valjinic *cough*) ;)

This is my piece for @okolnir​ Fan Art contest! I’ve always wanted to draw these two, heck, even the others and now I’ve finally got around to do it. I love these two soo much and its all thanks to the amazing artist, Shilin! 

I put a lot of effort into this piece. It’s probably one of the best painting I’ve done this year.

It took rougly ~15hrs during the course of ~9 days.

 A lot of thought went into this and you can see how it come to this here! The video is kinda long, you’ve been warned.

Shilin, I hope you like this piece not just for the contest but just by fan art in general. You are my favourite artist in the world and in my opinion, the best artist in the world. You’re a huge inspiration to me and I look forward to how Carciphona turns out.

Characters of my friend Noa (http://noa89.tumblr.com) and me, Liliahn and Weirin! They're from completely different and unrelated stories, but one day when I was showing Noa this little Weirin dress I came up with, we discovered that they're both kawaii heirs of countless fortune LOL... so naturally I drew them together... the $ sign was originally a joke, too, but after putting it there, I couldn't think of anything more appropriate for them LOL :D mistakes were made

I struggled with how I wanted this picture to turn out, but eventually it turned out ok and and I am happy that I can make this quality of polish even for patreon/quick stuff now, I remember my first few pieces for patreon were really subpar in quality, and the sketches that I used to always do were even more rough than that, so thank you patreon for giving me the opportunity to learn to do this :D

Congrats on 10 years of Carciphona Shilin! (although this is rather late..........) 

This entire shoot was disrupted by the fact that the airline lost Veloce’s swords :,D We had to change our shoot concept so that we didn’t stay up until 3am for nothing. We tried to shoot a sequence but the 3am crazies made us miss a lot of shots that we needed haha, oops <.<

But hey we can always try again right??
