Recently I went to a Town meeting regarding our school system and changes to the curriculum.
During this meeting, a very indignant woman stood up and started shouting loudly. She is a lady from my neighborhood, and is widely known as the Queen of "Karens".
"My daughter went to these schools and she turned out to be a perfectly well-adjusted Adult, and member to society!!!!"
I had to laugh to myself because just the evening before the meeting, her "well-adjusted" daughter was literally squealing like a pig while she ate my ass, and thanked ME for making her do it.
Sounds well-adjusted to me. 😂😂😂
Okay, so!
Between forklift training/getting to ride around and perform logistical feats with the company steed and spending literally all day today doing stupid and complicated things to the guard rails at the elevator holes... I'm actually feeling pretty good about myself, mental health-wise. I actually had energy to cook last night, and I'm playing a bit of minecraft again. And tomorrow I have Profesional Manhandling (massage therapy), so maybe my calves won't feel like exploding?
Not that any of this well-adjusted-ness lasts more than five minutes in the face of any political news, but still.
