Local folks tell a tale in the east part of the ocean where the water was as clear as glass, lived a mermaid unlike any other.

They say a single mermaid protects the area, where coral reefs were the brightest and most beautiful, with fishes and species unseen by others inhabiting the area. Fiercely protective of her domain, her speed and agility would chase away any intruders who dared to disturb the peace of her underwater paradise.

Legends spoke of sailors who caught glimpses of this mermaid as she darted through the water, her single wing propelling her with effortless grace. They spoke of her appearances, marred by the scars of her battles along her shiny tail, and of the awe-inspiring sight of her wearing a mask made of shells, shielding her face away with only her dark eyes gleaming under the sea.

If only, this lost fisherman heard of the tales, having separated from his crew and stumble upon this place...only fate can tell if the mermaid would be merciful to this bearded man.

as mentioned, she's a mermaid that's inspired by flying fish, with her left wing broken, so she only have her right wing present

likes collecting sea shells for multiple reasons, one is to change her mask regularly, the other is to use it to polish them into knife and last is because they're shiny and pretty

that means she likes to collect shiny rocks too

having separated from her colonies, she had stayed in this part of the coral reef and sworn to protect it from harm

she's able to dart out from the ocean from afar, therefore no one can tell if she was near until it was too late, plunging sailors and humans into the ocean and ending their lifes with her sharp claws or her knife-like shells

she does eat humans

a small doodle of Fisherman!Price who spotted the coral reef and was fascinated, he had no intention of destroying or stealing the reefs there as he just admires it.

this intrigues Raven, as she observes closely, ready to strike if he does anything funny

What where you saying about the system?” He nodded toward her screen. “Oh, the main server’s disconnected, which caused a chain reaction along the other databases and streamers. We’re losing files really quickly.” She paused, then looked at him. “Are you sure you don’t want to talk about how you just said ‘I love you’?” ”You said it yourself, we’re losing files really quickly. You can recover them, right?” He asked earnestly, looking at her hopefully. ”Well, I’m not able to, but the main tech guy might be. I can stop more from disappearing. I hope.” “Well, I believe in you,” he said, clapping her on the back.
