Eighteen months after the birth of their first child, the King and Queen were delivered of their second daughter, Mary, on 11th August 1467 at Windsor Castle. Her christening took place the next day, 12th August, with Cardinal Bourchier acting as one of her sponsors. The infant Mary was sent to join her elder sister, Elizabeth, in the nursery at Sheen under the care of their nurse, Margaret Lady Berners. - The York Princesses by Sarah J. Hodder.
