Temperance for the ask meme, if you wish!

Temperance: How willing are they to let other peoples ideas work? How does my muse handle moderation? Is their an aspect of their life that they live in excess of?

Gisele’s a Type A control freak but she’s willing to entertain other people’s ideas...if she thinks they’re feasible. If not, expect a lengthy monologue detailing precisely why it’s a bad idea and won’t work, along with the presentation of an alternative.

“Everything in moderation, including moderation” is one of her life’s mottos. Gisele does everything to excess and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s a younger version of Auntie Mame, tbh: life’s a banquet and most poor bastards are starving to death, but not her. Never her.

I haven't read it yet but there is a section of the dwarf dlc in inquisition (for which I hate the ending and much of the weird lore introduction) that talks about mythal going to war with titans and harvesting them. Longer response later! It's been so long since I dug my claws in deep

You know, I'm more and more convinced that the darkspawn are a twisted version of the Titan hivemind that used to link all the dwarves.

Lyrium (all kinds), the taint, the Blight, the Calling. . .it's all from the same source: Titans. So, darkspawn, whatever they are at the start, get corrupted by some form of Titan blood. The Titan then compels them to find the "old gods" way down beyond the Deep Roads. Which sucks, because those dragons should stay right where they are. The dragons that dwell there, I think, were put in place by the Evanuris to guard the seal of the Void. The dragons we've been calling archdemons? I think they're either high-ranking priests of the Evanuris, OR, they are a fragment of the Evanuris' essence (in the same vein as Flemeth casting a piece of herself in an amulet, while also appearing as a dragon in DA2.)

Over the ages, the upward creep of the Titan influence, the "song" that's heard in many forms, through red lyrium, or blue lyrium, or the stone itself, infects any living organism in the Deep Roads, including whatever creatures the darkspawn were in the beginning, AND the guardian dragons keeping watch over that seal.

that's my imperfect theory anyway.

The Titans are on the rise. They spent aeons infecting people's minds, trying to draw them down to the Deep Roads, getting them to wreck ancient elven shit so all their safety protocols are ruined and everything goes haywire. The prison/seal that's depicted in the DA4 teaser is about to break, thanks to Titan blood influence, and everything that Solas trapped in the Void is gonna come rushing out: the Evanuris, the Forbidden Ones, the Forgotten Ones. . .and who knows what else.

Honestly like. The pace you can make money at in this game on your own is just fine. There’s no reason to get greedy.

You could argue that paying 20k for something that cost 2k (but the seller found for free) shouldn’t be a problem then, but then it’s just like? why? why not just give it away/sell it for original price and gain some good faith from a fellow player

Just like @teaandinanity I bought the thing, and it continues to be delightful, even without an ability to romance a Weyr. (To be fair, though, the romance I did do was rather an overview of a romance than anything with any depth, so I may just have to enjoy the setting & characters in this one more than the relationships? Which means a Weyr romance in my head is totally possible.)

uh. I think they’re mostly fixated on Shadowhunters, but they’re more than willing to be all judgey at anyone else who gets involved in the conversation.

I totally get what you mean re: Black Mirror. I tried 3 other episodes and wasn't into it at all (but somehow fell in love with San Junipero).Let me know if you ever get around to watching it! :)

San Jupinero is very worth watching. I'm not very big on Black mirror myself, but that episode is very sweet and hopeful. AND it has Gugu Mbatha-Raw as one of the leads (talk about ridiculously pretty) I think you will enjoy it a LOT

which is not a bad thing to have in one’s head, but it is a bit jarring when one did not expect it

I can usually manage my coffee maker even with the brain dead, but I hadn’t cleaned teh filter cups last time I used it, so I thought a basic pour-over would be easier.
