Summary: You find Hannah having a panic attack and comfort her, never pushing her to talk at all, very soft!

Hannah stumbled into her shared dorm with Allie. She looked around for her closest friend, but she was nowhere to be seen. So Hannah moved into her bedroom, closing the door and sitting on the edge of her bed, her hand on her chest as her breathing sped up.

Tears started falling down her soft cheeks.

The memories coming back to her, his hands, his voice, everything of that moment. She felt sick to her stomach.

She felt sad, she felt angry, she felt so many different emotions she didn’t know how to even think of calming herself down.

The memories of what he did to her, what Aaron Delaney, did to her.

Hannah tried to reach for her laptop, for her phone, anything to play music, to try and calm her racing heart.

It was no use, her hands were trembling.

She was so consumed by her emotions that she didn’t notice the sound of you coming into her dorm.

You walked inside looking for the lipstick Allie mentioned that you could try, when you paused by the sofa. The sounds of crying and sniffling caught your attention.

As you got closer the Hannah’s door you knew it was her sobbing.

You felt your heart break the second you opened her door, seeing her like this.

Hannah was having a panic attack, all alone. No one here for her. It broke you.

“Wellsy..” you spoke, so softly, not wanting to scare her anymore than she already looked

You came over, taking it slow, being careful, letting her know that it’s you. Then you sat beside her on the mattress and hugged her.

Hannah melted at your touch, hugging back almost instantly, her grip on your sweater tight.

She definitely needed this more than you could even imagine.

Slowly her cries and sniffles stopped.

Your sweet perfume becoming a comfort to her.

“I.. I’m..” Hannah tried so hard to tell you what was making her act like this, it was hard for her and you could see that

“Hey, it’s alright, you don’t have to tell me if you aren’t ready, okay?” You smiled at her.

Those words softened over her aching heart.

Hannah smiled back and nodded.

“How about we watch your favourite movie?” You suggested, moving to get comfortable on her bed, patting the spot beside you for her

She seemed to love the idea. Hannah joined you, letting you put the laptop on.

Both of you sitting close together, your hands moving to put the blanket over her and then yourself.

You felt your heart skip a beat when she moved closer to you, showing how much she trusts you.

As the movie played and you both were practically cuddling, you couldn’t help but smile at her, seeing how relaxed she looked now.

And when you weren’t looking, Hannah smiled at you, thankful that you were patient and gentle with her all the time, especially today.

You both end up laying down and talking about things, college work, relationships, favourite things, anything. Hannah peaks over at you and notices that you’re smiling at her, which melts her heart and makes her stomach flip.

Hannah leans over and kisses your cheek, then lays back giggling as the forgotten movie played in the background.

Your cheeks flushed and your ears burning.

The rest of the day spent with Hannah and you, was watching cheesy rom-coms, eating snacks, laughing, staying close. A soft day.
