Thanks to “Call the Midwife” and its secret Welsh lesbian* character, I am now obsessed with the Welsh term of endearment cariad.
*character is secretly a lesbian, not secretly Welsh
Look at these adorable folks. Well, not so much the guy on the left. Yeah, he's adorable too, but he isn't a VA in Dragon Age, so...
On the far right, we have the VA for Solas (Gareth David-Lloyd). I want that vest, by the way. I do enjoy a good vest. Ahem. Anyway. Yes, that's the VA behind the sleepy pajama elf.
In the middle, we have the lovely Eve Myles, who voiced Merrill in DA II. She's also super nice at cons/etc. How can you not love someone who told her husband she was pregnant by using a Jaws reference? "We're going to need a bigger boat!"
Uh, if I ever write any bizarre fics that involve a Hawke/Merrill baby, I totally want to work that in somehow.

I will never get over how cute it is that Varric calls Merrill "Daisy" and Isabela calls her "Kitten." They're so protective of her and they just keep helping her and being friends and oh god too much cute. Why doesn't Hawke give people nicknames? :C
