We’re ready for tomorrow’s Have a Heart Fundraiser to benefit CMC’s VN/RN students This reverse raffle promises to be a blast! Proceeds from this February 11, 2023 Reverse Raffle will ease some of the financial burden associated with their program including ATI test prep, uniforms, background checks and their pinning ceremony. The evening begins at 6 pm with spaghetti dinner and cash bar followed by a robust reverse raffle where the last ticket drawn is the winner. Consolatory prizes will be given along the way. For the past decade, CMC Foundation has assisted all CMC Vocational Nursing (VN) students with an ATI Test Prep Package. At $1441.98 per student, twelve (12) students received this review, practical test and directed tutoring to assist them in taking their nursing boards, NCLEX next summer. CMCF has funded this test prep since 2012 resulting in VN students at CMC accomplishing a near perfect first time pass rate for their nursing boards since 2013! This year the Registered Nursing (RN) students also received help for their ATI Test Prep Package from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funding (HEERF). A total of $95,885 was distributed to the RN students to purchase the ATI. In an effort to ensure future nursing students have these same opportunities, our Nursing Students are partnering with CMC Foundation to host “Have a Heart” fundraiser to benefit CMC’s VN/RN students.
