could it be the filetype you’re saving it as? you could try saving as a .PSD instead of a .sai file and see how that goes, since both support layers and can be opened by sai

I’m knida hoping its just my copy of sai fucking up on the rare occasion because:

1. it stopped letting me save sai files anyway, so I stuck with PSDs since honestly that’s easier over different art platforms

2. yet again, I’m careful about doing regular check up s on my comp and it hasn’t had any random hiccups as of late

So I’m uncertain. I’m gonna keep most files on my thumb drive for the time being, but thankfully its not like...a large mass of files going blank/corrupt randomly cuz that would feel more devastating tbh.

for the anon who was asking about lotion before, I believe there are quite a few gel lotions out there which are non-greasy. I think there's a vaseline one that's supposed to be quite hydrating??
