Realize I'm like 15 hours late, but I just saw your AU prompts request, so I'm throwing this in. Natasha and/or Olivia Dunham and/or Sarah Walker meets a Dalek. And thinks it's ADORABLE.

Oh my god, Sarah would find it adorable (while Morgan and Chuck are backing away in terror). Olivia would Dunham it. Natasha, I don't know. But given how terrifying she is, I'd say they're getting a new pet in Avengers tower.

OK, a bit of a self-centered ask, but, yesterday marked 12 months since I've published ANY writing, and that made me a little nostalgic. If I were to complete any of my WIPs, which would get your vote?

College Years. Chop-chop! 

Wow, it’s been a year since you published anything? I’m guessing the last thing was a birthday present for Cat. I was going to try and write something yesterday, but I ended up crashing super-early. Oh, look, I changed your self-centered ask into a self-centered reply. ;)

Do you think that maybe in the Blue Universe, the creators of Chuck (which over there actually features Sarah at the titular character, because reasons, so I should say the creators of "Sarah") actually told a stronger story from S3 onwards?

It’s actually a sad tale. Yvonne Strahovski’s red hair is so distinctive that she happened to get noticed by the right casting agency while Sarah is in limbo between seasons two and three, and the lure of an A-List career is so strong that her agent breaks her contract with Schwartz and Fedak’s production company. NBC leverages that to move her over to an action movie franchise where she becomes a box-office star. Sarah tries to make it work for another season and a half, bringing in an untested actress Lauren Cohan as an ATF agent now charged with being Chuck’s new partner Sarah Monroe, but even Zachary Levi’s goateed charisma isn’t enough to float the show. 

But the great thing is that Lauren Cohan is kicking ass on The Walking Dead in both universes (one just happens to be a radio show and the other airs on AMC), and Yvonne’s up for her first Oscar in that universe. The competition’s tough, but I have a feeling if she loses, she’ll take her two Emmys from her Sarah days and shove them down some voters’ throats. Gleefully.

33. Least favorite AU tropes?

This is a hard one. I'm just gonna focus on Chuck because I really do think this question is fandom specific. Each fandom has their own quirks and common things they do that can be annoying. In Chuck it's turning Chuck into a superman, having him be badass and everybody else lame. Sarah being turned into little more than a simpering woman who can't do anything right and needs big, bad Chuck to save her an tell her what to do. Stories where Bryce is a huge dick. I mean, don't get me wrong, Bryce was a dick, but not like the outright evil douchebag a lot of stories make him. Stories where Sarah leaves Chuck. Stories where there is unnecessary angst simply because they don't talk to each other. And on and on.

12. What turns you away the most from a fic?

Not enough Sarah Walker. Poorly written Sarah Walker. Sarah Walker that is fully clothed out of character. The same could be said for most fics in other fandoms.

Tell me I'm evil and not to do this: So you asked me some time back about if I was ever going to finish CY. And to be honest, the reason I haven't is because I don't know how to end it (or at least how to get there). But yesterday, as I was watching episodes I actually liked on Netflix, I had an idea. Chuck has disappeared, and Young!Sarah is ready to go on a Phase Three like warparth to find him. But..What if when she finally finds him...We get reverse finale treatment (Chuck doesn't know her)?

Do it. Any ending to an incomplete story is a good one. That’s what people demanding that I finish my stories have taught me.

35. Do you like high school and college AUs?

Generally, yes. I mean, you take the good with the bad. There are some really awesome high school & college AUs and then there are the AUs that are basically training wheels for a lot of fanfiction writers, and I avoid the latter.
