The feminine urge to spend six hours connecting tiny metal rings.
The horrors persist, so does the chainmail...
I wear symbols, not accessories.
Chainmail became more than craft to me. It feels like ritual work now. Tiny metal rings turning slowly into something sacred, handwoven pieces for witches, dark souls, old spirits and beautiful people born under strange moons....
Ok, so I did a photoshoot for this spectacular necklace and somehow the colors came out exactly like the atmosphere in Re-Sonator / From Beyond... which is funny, because the entire concept behind this piece was already rooted in Lovecraftian cosmic horror to begin with.
That strange glow between flesh, void, and something unknowable. Like opening a door that was never meant to be touched.
So unintentionally… the photos ended up looking exactly like the feeling I had in mind when I created it and I love it.
Maybe some things just find their way back to the abyss.
Cameos with original watercolour paintings (they are 3x4 cm), featuring magical beings of Nature´s Kingdom. (They are available, contact me if you want one <3).
