If he were to be asked, Satoru would say he remembers the famous detective, Mr. Herlock Sholmes, rather well. He's... the type of character that's rather impossible to forget. His deductions certainly have a particular quality to them - that's one way to put it, at least - and it's easy to get swept up and overwhelmed by the man's abundance of eccentric enthusiasm. In fact, it was Sholmes, as Satoru recalls, who convinced Satoru to find a way to continue the study tour to England with Naruhodo as a lawyer, in spite of his lack of qualifications...
But never did he think they'd meet again in these circumstances. After breaking into the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Satoru was in some legal 'hot water' for a while - thinking about it, that's Sholmes' fault, too, though he can't particularly blame him for it after learning about what came to light as a result of that investigation...
That's a topic for another time though, perhaps. Still, being shipped off to London isn't the worst outcome that Satoru could've faced - even if it does sting that his fellow detectives back home had been so eager to get him off their hands.
"It's been some time, Mr. Sholmes." Satoru bows as he greets him, his expression as polite and professional as always. Inwardly, though... he has no idea what to expect from a conversation with such an unusual character, and whether to be nervous about it or not.
"I'm sorry for the delay on my part. I've... had some trouble finding my way around since arriving here." ...He also tried to help a lost child on the way, only for them to burst into tears and call a zombie when he started coughing up blood... but maybe he'll keep the embarrassing part to himself, for now.
