Idk why this came about when it’s been storming like crazy as of late, but I thought of Chuck being stuck out in the rain, and not feeling particularly fond of traveling back home the way he usually does on foot (dog foot rather), so he ends up stopping near a home of someone familiar to him instead to (hopefully) wait it out.

At least he was smart to have extra clothes with him!
