Hello dear goblinfam!

So I introduced the concept of werewolf!Leon to @bingoenjoyer69 some time ago (can't take credit for creating it, only introducing), and she went and wrote a whole ass multi-chaptered fic around it. 🥺💖

Naturally, I *had* to draw fanart for it. Also yes, Leon will always keep his iconic hairstyle regardless of what form he takes. I don't make the rules, that's just how it is. 🐺🌕

Dogstar

Ada observed from behind her sunglasses as the man climbed out of the manhole. She thought all the cops were dead. This guy, though, was dressed the part, including the riot gear. He was ready for a fight and held his gun up nervously. He trotted over to the shuddered entrance. When it didn’t move, he growled and tried to raise the shudder. It groaned from his efforts. Ada raised an eyebrow when she saw it start to move. How was that cop able to do that? She turned her head when she heard a growl. A pack of those demented dogs was beginning to approach the cop. Ada took out her gun and readied it. She could just leave him to die, but with the progress he was making on the door, she realized he could be much more of an assent than a hinder. And it would be a crime to let such a pretty face go to waste.

The man panted, having gotten the door to move only the slightest bit, leaving a big enough crack at the bottom that you could slide a hand through. It wasn’t much, but with that kind of strength, he might be a force to reckoned with. Ada saw his head tilt before he turned towards the sound. Immediately he let go of the door and stood to his full height. But something wasn’t right. She was sure his eyes had been blue before, but now they were a honey-gold color, shining brightly in the dim light. He narrowed his eyes at the approaching dogs. And then he growled.

Immediately the dogs stopped. They made confused noises. The man growled again and barked. It was if he was trying to communicate with them, despite the fact that they had no sense of self left. A few barked back. Ada watched this in interest and amazement. The man continued to bark and growl with the dogs, communicating something, and the conversation continued until the dogs left. They left the cop alone without trying to take a bite out of him. Clearly he was more valuable than she thought. Deciding not to holster her gun in case he had more dangerous abilities, she stepped out to meet him, careful to avoid the fleeing dogs.

“Impressive.” Ada said. The cop, who had gone back to trying to get the door opened, whipped around to face her. His eyes were still that golden color, uncommon and somewhat unnerving. Ada continued, “You speak dog, I presume?”

“Uh,” The guy blinked, “I just have a special connection, I guess.”

“Enough to keep you from getting attacked by zombie ones?” He flinched at that accusation. Maybe that was something she was not supposed to know.

“Who are you, anyway? Are you another survivor?”

“Something like that.” She flipped out her fake badge, “FBI. And who might you be, Dogstar?”

“Leon. Leon Kennedy.” he said. He gestured, “If I had enough time, I could probably get this thing open. But it needs a keycard. Any idea where to find one, Miss-?”

“Ada.” She met his eyes, “I don’t think I’ve ever met someone with yellow eyes before.”

“Genetic disorder.” He said it immediately, like it was a practiced response. Probably was. Leon continued, “Look, even if you can’t help me and just ask stupid questions, we should stick together to get out of here. It’s too dangerous to be alone.”

“If you can stand me, I think I know where we could get a keycard.” She didn’t want to get separated from Leon, even though she was sure he could handle himself now. Ada wanted to learn more about Leon Kennedy, and the best way to do that would to spend more time in his presence. Maybe he could even help her finish her job. It would certainly help things progress a lot faster. Glancing back to make sure he followed, spotting blue eyes instead of yellow, she began leading to way to the cells.

The beginning of an interesting partnership, I suppose.
