GRASSHOPPER MOUSE FAKEMON Maraudent - Vyrmenthrope

Grasshopper mice are some of the coolest rodents on the planet: They're primarily carnivorous and feed on venomous scorpions/snakes/centipedes, and their bodies even process venom into painkillers. They also howl into the night like tiny wolves, which earns them the nickname of "werewolf mouse". These fakemon are a direct play on that very idea :) Maraudent gets Scrappy, Immunity, and Moxie as a Hidden Ability; Vyrmenthrope sees Immunity replaced with Poison Heal.

Its Shiny colouration is inspired by Albino Mice and White/Arctic Wolves :)

Inspired by a American werewolf in London

Half grasshopper mouse aka the werewolf mouse and half Long-eared jerboa.

Outfit aesthetic

They wear silver because it holds back their were-mouse strength.

August also called Saint by most of these friends and family is a short but bulky Appalachian mouse with a even shorter temper.

They're nonbinary they/them queer and asexual.

They're pretty quiet in general but they try really hard to be gentle with others both verbally and physically because being a were-mouse makes them extra aggressive/temperamental.

Extremely strong but they try not hitting others so they'll mostly just use their belt and belt buckle as a weapon, wrapping their belt around their fist and usind the heavy silver buckle like a mace.

But they have a hunting knife just in case things get really bad.

August/saint Isn't scared to fight and if anything loves throwing their bulk around when they know others can handle it in a fight.

Instrument that they play in the banjo but they only okay Gothic blues on it.

This Friday the 13th, we’re bringing you a carnivorous rodent known as a “werewolf mouse” for its fierce predatory ways and tendency to “howl.” Grasshopper mice are desert dwellers whose prey includes snakes, scorpions, centipedes, and even other mice! The pint-sized hunters are fearless in the face of one of the desert’s most dangerous stings: the bark scorpion’s. It turns out that in grasshopper mice, the scorpion’s venom acts to block pain instead of inflaming it. And why all the howling? These high-pitched vocalizations are used to share information with other grasshopper mice.
