Guy wakes up the next morning feeling well rested. He groans against Hal's shoulder and opens an eye to see Hal staring at him, wide awake.
"Stop staring at me, freak," grumbles Guy, glaring half-heartedly at Hal. "It's creeping me out."
"What, and miss out on my princess's beautiful face?" Hal has that familiar shit eating smirk on his face, and Guy reaches up to tug at his hair in retaliation. Hal growls, biting his hand.
"Don’t start something you can’t finish." Guy firms his grip on Hal’s hair and pulls, making Hal gasp.
"Do you top?" asks Hal, voice a little more breathless than before. Guy smirks.
"Hell yeah."
12. favorite character to write about this year
i had a blast writing hal and guy, i'm not gonna lie to you. also peter. there's something about his character voice that i really enjoy writing and idk what it is.
18. current number of wips
so many. like way too many. let me see...
i counted the verses together, plus some random ones lying around, and it's around 13. (if i counted the individual fics in verses, it would probably be a lot more.)
30. favorite fandom to read fic from this year
probably green lantern. they have a lot of comic based stuff, which makes me happy. there were a few good spiderman fics and some daredevil fics, but it’s really hard to find people actively writing comic based fic bc most of the stuff is based on different adaptations (no shade to them. but it’s just not what i'm looking for).

☔ Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?
g-d yesterday or the day before idk i had like a brain blast for a blue beetle au that i'm never going to write. which is khaji da somehow becoming attached to jaime when he's like 10/11 and milagro is just a little baby. and he ends up on the watchlist of the DEO because of it. with peacemaker also getting his scarab early and then basically being sent on like a divine bug mission to protect jaime at all costs.
they find out what the scarabs are capable of because guy shows up because his ring is sensing that khaji da is active (other green lanterns would technically be more likely to be there but guy is jaime's GL so that's who it is) and warns them. but baby jaime is already turning khaji around with the power of Friendship and Love. it is imperative that there is a scene where peacemaker kills someone while wearing milagro in a baby swing. and also that it's peacemaker/bianca/alberto endgame obviously. they probably get some protection from la dama because jaime is already friends with brenda and paco by then, too.
...so probably that. i'd probably just like to explain that.

it’s so good man. it’s so good. hardison may be an absentee but that won’t stop him from tormenting harry. i love how mad he gets when hardison is like well it was supposed to embarrass you. they will NEVER let him get comfortable. harry thinks he’s in good standing with the team and then they take out the shock collars and pony play magazines mailed to his workplace in front of everyone.

i'm trying to rewrite the beginning chapters rn. ch1 is done, but i've kind of stalled out on ch2 bc a lot of the old beginning is not the right tone, so i'm thinking about just rewriting the whole part with the kink club bc idk it's not coming out how i want it to??
