People on FB have field days with that. They know how to somehow force an image to appear as ‘questionable’

Either way, it’s now a clear, in-dash indicator of whether or not safe mode is on, and obscuring stuff is LEAGUES better than outright hiding it. That’s definitely a step in the right direction.

Yeah, also i just remembered the entire language used in the song of the ancients was created FOR the game and its just amazing. Like the actual scream that came from my mouth when he walked out on that stage with that stupid face was unreal.

Ohjeez, yeah. The singing is especially beautiful since it does have hints of being a language you might be somewhat familiar to. Like something you might’ve heard ages ago. So whistful and soft for a game that is somewhat melancholy in theme

Oh heck yeah. Yoko Taro is a such a big weirdo that I kinda love him already. I mean, even his reaction to the “scandal” that happened a few days ago with Automata and how he handles things with humor is very relatable somehow

But as someone who’s now at the 70% mark of NieR, that stupid mask takes a whole new angle once you realize the backstory behind it! Like ohjeez, I can’t look at it the same way again.

Nier is fucking amazing, like its worth a play no matter the reason. Hell its entire story is consived off ending R i think it was for drakkenguard 3.

It was Drakengard 1, actually! Ending E of that game leads to the events that start off  the timeline of NieR

I’ve spent the last couple of days diving head first into the Drakengard series before starting a playthrough of NieR in preparation for NieR: Automata, so all that stuff is fresh in my mind ‘ v ‘;

I mean, just hearing the summary of Drakengard and how friggin’ grim the story is and it’s themes that back in the day especially weren’t explored too much got me hooked instantly. It’s such a fascinating thing when your party of main characters are all terrible people or deeply flawed in some way. That and the whole premise of being able to make a pact with a beast, at the cost of sacrificing something of yours to make the pact work is super cool to me. To be honest, I’ve bounced around the idea of a story like that in my head a lot and it’s really neat that Drakengard got to the idea before me heh. 

If anyone’s curious, the plotline summaries I watched were made by one Clemps on Youtube. They did summaries of the entire Drakengard series, so if you want a better understanding for the way NieR and that series connect and the weird themes they use for their advantage, I do recommend checking them out.

But! NieR! It is such an incredibly amazing game. Like you can tell here and there that they had a limited budget to work with, but MAN, the game is such an underrated gem. The music and writing especially are beautiful. I haven’t even seen  one ending and I adore it already, gosh. If you have the ability, I do recommend checking that game out for yourself.

how good is the new god eater game? my friends are thinking about buying it.

The port's good. Controls are smooth. Runs at a good framerate constantly on my rig. You can MP the entire story from start to finish.
