Yes I would like that very much thank you for asking !! I've posted the doc to these guys previously, but I wanted to yap a bit about the details of how they actually collect and process souls because it's fun to think about how mundane it is. Soul Collection:

The Scythe

Reapers are given an item, a magic item disguised as a mortal invention, that has the ability to rip open an entrance to their personal pocket dimension. "Scythes" can be disguised as anything, though most common is a writing utensil. 

Pocket Dimensions

Pocket dimensions are specific to each Reaper. They can hold infinite souls, but it's not recommended to hold the living or items within them. Reapers and celestial beings can pass through the rifts opened with ease, but living beings make the dimension unsteady and can possibly collapse it in on itself if the Reaper isn't careful. Within the dimension souls sit in a stasis of sorts, until the Reaper is done with their job and can transfer them to the Waiting Room.

Note: souls in pocket dimensions cannot turn into ghosts nor fully realized souls due to the stasis. 

The Waiting Room

This is a sort of Purgatory. It's called a waiting room because that's exactly what it is. When souls arrive, they take shape and regain their consciousness and memories. The Waiting Room is as close as it can get to a waiting room on earth, it's meant to put the dead at ease. Imagine a DMV style set up, where they're given tickets as they arrive and sent to windows/desks one at a time. 

Note: There are some cases, and some religions, where the soul(s) may not go directly to the waiting room, or might not even remember being there. An example would be in Moonknight, when Steven and Marc were in the Duat. Tawaret would have to specifically oversee the case for them to skip the Waiting Room. (In my canon with Wes, he personally hands them over to Tawaret.)

Filing

When they get to the window they've been called up to, the worker they've been assigned to asks them for their name, beliefs/religion, and closest date of death. (Some souls don't know the exact date they died, so the last day they remember being alive is typically given.) The worker assigned to them will look them up in their database. This will give them information about their life, if they worshipped a specific deity, their family members who have passed, and most importantly, anyone who may be waiting for them already in the afterlife.

Choosing What To Do

Once all of their information has been laid out and confirmed, the worker will explain their options for the afterlife. They're obligated to inform them of any souls that may be waiting, or if they've been given instructions on what to do. (Example: someone may have chosen reincarnation but want their loved one to go to Heaven and leave a message for them.) The afterlife the individual believed in during their life is the first to be suggested, but they're also given access to information about the others. If a soul needs time to think about it before Ascending, they're more than free to do so and can take another ticket when they've chosen.

Ascension

This is the easiest part of the process. Once a soul has chosen which afterlife they’d like to go to, or lack of one in some cases, they’re given another ticket but this one is more like a train ticket or a plane ticket. There’s a set of doors, exit doors, that the soul goes through and depending on their ticket information, it will let them out where they asked to be. If they chose reincarnation they’ll be put in another waiting room, but I’ll cover that option in a minute. If they choose to be erased, they won’t have any consciousness once they pass through and will cease to exist on every plane.

Reincarnation

If a soul chooses this option, at the desk they’re given their options as to what their karma will allow them to come back as. Many who choose this option are given their new bodies quickly when they pass through the doors, but others- who have a lot of good karma- may have to wait a while for a child to be born into the circumstances they’ve earned. (Like a royal baby or something.) This is a very popular afterlife option for obvious reasons, but many who are given bad options tend to choose another.
