“Corporate said we were getting some strange press inquiries, so they sent me down to ease your concerns- I’m Wesley Jr, the Fairy-Type coordinator here at KashiraCorp’s Galarian branch!
To start off- KashiraCorp certainly isn’t evil! It sounds as though you’ve bought into some of those propaganda anti-Trainer Pokemon Liberation news networks- do be more careful with what you browse online, there’s a lot of misinformation out there!
Here at KashiraCorp we seek to improve the lives of both Pokemon and Humans by perfecting Pokemon genetics- so our trusty, faithful companions can be the best they can be!
Of course, such research requires some sacrificing here and there- but I can assure you, it’s all for the greater good, and all our gli--- Subtypes are handled in humane and ethical ways!
As for your other question- I’m afraid I don’t understand? I don’t know those names at all- But I can assure you, KashiraCorp has never, and will never, sell defective Pokemon to our clientele. Pokemon who do not meet our standard of sale are sent to live on our patented Envirozoos, where they receive the best standard of care we can afford!
There’s no record of escape by our Subtypes either! Why would they want to? Our handlers are specially selected to cater to the unique needs of our Subtypes, to ensure they’re raised in a healthy, safe fashion.
There ARE some people who claim they own defective specimens of our Subtypes, but such a thing is impossible! All of our specimens are microchipped- if an individual doesn’t have a microchip- which is impossible to spoof thanks to encryption, mind you- then their Pokemon is very obviously not a KashiraCorp Pokemon! Most times it’s someone who’s slapped paint on their poor, unwitting Pokemon just to feel a bit of glory at showing off their false KashiraCorp Pokemon. It’s cruel, really.”
“Oh goodness, what a question! There’s certainly no mistreatment by any of our testers. With the Crowned Grimmsnarl line, some individuals may become very....overzealous during their Training phase, to the point they exhaust themselves beyond our ability to help them recover. Sometimes, very rarely, this requires euthanasia to ease their suffering- Grimmsnarl are notoriously prone to liver failure if overworked, as their bodies are sensitive to increased levels of toxic metals, which occurs due to dehydration.
This is unfortunate, but it’s the competitive part of Grimmsnarl nature. A small percentage of individuals in any Crowned Morgrem batch are likely to not survive that vital phase in their preparation. Thankfully, mortality is quite low, with only one in five succumbing to this strange behavior.

“Okay, with that- I’ll agree, somewhat. However, we do not ruthlessly slaughter our Subtype Pokemon- That would be insane! Individuals who pass due to natural causes, like what I mentioned above, are given to our contracted processors to skin and prepare as food products.
This sounds gruesome, but it’s better than simply letting our Subtype’s bodies go to waste, especially after the Blight decimated Hoenn’s farmland- we’d like to mitigate the global food shortage however we can. For the most part, the carcasses are turned into Pokeblocks for carnivorous Pokemon- it’s an affordable way for Trainers to feed their big, aggressive Pokemon which require insane amounts of protein.
And, for the humans who are curious enough... you’d be surprised at the price a client would pay for Grimmshanks. I don’t fully understand it myself, though, like I said, at least they’re not going to waste.”
