A box of chocolate has been left on West's bedside table, with a short holo saying :
"I will be at the Library for the whole day, I'm afraid, but I promise I will be home by diner...

West wasn’t entirely sure what ‘Love Day’ was... He tried to think of the day they’d met, or maybe it was the anniversary of the first time they had kissed... But both of those cases, he was almost sure, happened closer to the middle of the year. Maybe she was tracking it differently. He’d just have to ask her when she got home. Obviously it was a celebration of some kind which meant he’d have a special dinner ready for her when she returned from work. He picked up the box, opening it up, chuckling a little at an entire box filled with little chocolates. He put on a simple shirt with his pajama pants and ate one as he prepared himself some breakfast and Sunrise Caf, working on his Basic.
He cleaned up around the house a bit before getting dressed and working on the garden outside, then back inside for cleaning and storing the little bit of harvest, back out for pruning a few flowers to display in the kitchen. A little more Basic reading after a trip to the fresher and getting changed into something more casual. Then looking up ideas for what a special dinner for Love Day might be... And each time he walked inside and passed the table with his data pad and the box of chocolates, he couldn’t help but eat another...
He caught himself eating one directly after another while watching holovids of recipes and shut the box, pushing it away from his immediate reach. With a better idea of what to cook, he went about preparing the meal and then got changed into much nicer looking clothes. Ariadne should be home pretty soon... The table was set, the meal prepared and flowers set on the table rather than on the counter.
