Sonny frustratedly dropped his pen on his desk. “I’m tellin’ ya, Syeda, don’t ever become a lawyer.” She chuckles, and replies, “You just ruined my career.” They both laugh, and when Sonny gets up to leave, Syeda stops him. “Hey, Carisi, what do you say... want to go get a drink?” Sonny stop dead in his tracks, and smiles. “Absolutely. Studying can wait.” They head off to the bar. The rest was history.
