His Primarch's name is Magnus. Magnus is literally just "Magus" with an N. And majus (مجوس) is literally an Arabic anti-Persian slur. It comes from the Persian majūs, a Zoroastrian priest. Means "fire-worshipper" and implies that a person is not a real Muslim. Still used against Shi'a Muslims and Iranians in general as an ethnic slur today.
