ok this week i keep missing awareness days and two of the ones that have occurred are very dear to me .

National Whale Day. was Feb 20. Save the whales. They are innocent magnificent creatures. They mean no harm to us. They are very important to our environment as well. Their breathing literally makes the world go round for humanity.

National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. is Feb 21-Feb 27, 2022. I went to eating disorder treatment 8 years ago in May. I am still fighting every day to eat without hating myself. or looking at my skin thinking i should be smaller or the mirror. I believe the mirror is toxic. but I am grateful to treatment because it saved my life; that and the family support especially my mother. I was on a downward swirl. I was never underweight but that doesn't mean my story is any less serious. i wont say what my behaviors were but Fuck ED. I deserve better and so do other people. I feel like I was given a second chance at life.

I don't know why I got another collection of Billy Collins's poetry consider I didn't care for the last one I read. I think I just liked the picture of the whale on the cover.
