I can say, today was an eventful day. My family and I traveled to Atlanta to visit my uncle because today was he's birthday. Well we made a few minor stops on the way but when we finally got to the entrance... The only tickets they were selling was for 5 o'clock admission... it was 2:30. However this didn't turn out to be such a bad thing, even though it was hot as hell outside, I enjoyed walking around, soaking up the view. I never knew how much I liked the urban settings, the skyscrapers, random monuments, the smell of street vendors... It felt right to be there. Along the way we stopped at a cafe called Corner Bakery, and it was by far one of the best places I've ever went to. Yea, so the whole 2 hour wait wasn't so bad after all, rather it gave me an idea to maybe live up there when I began to settle down a bit. If I settle down a bit.
Well this day ended with a bang, I guess my mother falling asleep on the driver seat would be considered "excitement". The whole ride back I was awake, making sure she was awake. She would swerve every few seconds, she would speed, she would drastically slow down, it was quite the least nerve-wracking. And as for me of course, jumped straight into a "worse case scenario", where she would lose control and we would all die. I swear, I was on the edge of my seat, just waiting for that moment to occur, anticipating, stalking, slowing the rate of my heart..... Fortunately, we got home safe. And I thoroughly enjoyed my day, the aquarium was a great place to unwind, I love the wildlife, I love whales. I regret not doing this sooner and not often at all... Hopefully it'll be different next year.
