“Last night we weren’t real people. When did we become worth dying for?” Temp asked Crysis not long after they regrouped on the far riverbank. As if Crysis had an answer.
An illustration from my fic! One of the scenes I’ve been thinking about the most for a while. Crysis (holding the saber) Temp and the Padawan (Disstla) had been separated from the rest of the squad during their mission. Lavana had promised to find her again, had promised it would be ok and that she only needed to be brave. Temp and Crysis would protect her. They did their best to save her but in the end it was a self sacrifice because the building was in flames, her leg was mangled, and she knew carrying her out meant none of them made it. Despite her feelings about the war, her bitterness to the clones, she didn’t want them to die so she pushed them away and locked her self where they couldn’t get her. And they TRIED.
Lavana will never forgive herself for not being there.

I once had a dream that Moon was in my kitchen eating my leftovers and talking to Sun on a shitty flip-phone. Sees me in the doorway. Makes direct eye contact and then continues to eat my leftovers and talk to Sun.
