Aerith wrapped her arms around Somnus from behind, cuddling and snuggling into him with a sleepy hum. It was early morning... earlier than early, the sun hadn't even crested yet. After a moment she lifted her head to watch and listen. Her lips tugged in a half-smile as Somnus shifted and rolled around towards her — he was somewhat awake, as she sunk into his arms. "Happy birthday." she whispered, and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
Her touch was warm and sweet. All he could wish for, truly. And feeling her sink into his arms, when sleep still clung to him… well, heaven could not be brighter. Somnus’ felt the smile on his lips crease the dimple on his cheek, where Aerith’s kiss lingered.
His own arms wrapped around her lovingly, pulling her around and on top of him gently.
“Thank you, amore.”, he whispered into her curly soft hair, pressing a kiss to the crown of her head.
Relaxing his hold a little again, Somnus’ eyes fell closed once more as he breathed in deeply. Feeling Aerith’s comfortable weight on his chest. This was perfect. This was all he needed. Her. Her love.
He hummed a little.
“Do you think I can wish for us to stay in bed all day?”

Steve would win but Natasha’s a dirty little cheat and steals all of the pillows and hides them far underneath the bed so they just end up wrestling for the last one.who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: Natasha by a landslide.
