i feel like i live in the worst era of animated cinema. if you like super realistic remakes of pikachu and the lion king etc im happy for you, but I just feel like dying every time a creative team actually puts effort into remaking a perfectly good 2d animated movie. like. its not prettier just because you can see each individual hair on the animals. no. 2d animation is beautiful and i sure hope it will regain popularity in the future or else im just gonne have to rewatch old movies for the rest of my life
