So I just spent about an hour looking up locations and times of scenes from Death Note on the off chance that I am suddenly transported to their universe in time to save L and catch Kira. My alias would be Rose Tyler and I would use my knowledge of their future to save the day. Example snippets from my head:

April 7, 2004 To-Oh University Me: Ryuga, may I talk to you for a moment? L: Alright. *Doesn’t leave Light’s side* Me: Wait, you’re not gonna- ok, then... My name is Rose Tyler and I’d like to join the Kira case. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Impresses with knowledge of stuff I shouldn’t know*

L: How do you know all of that? Me: Indeed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Foresees future*

L: That’s amazing, how did you know? Me: Will you take time travel as an answer?

Then once I have succeeded in saving L, capturing Kira, and finding a way back to my own universe, L will continue with his life and will happen across a TV show in the year 2005, and in this show will be a girl named Rose Tyler who travels through time, and he will think of me, the girl who knew things before they occurred, and he will wonder if perhaps such a thing could exist, I mean he’s accepted shinigami now, is time travel that big of a stretch?
