Spoiler for 11.22.63

Jake decides Bill needs to be out of the way for a few days. His solution: have him admitted to a hospital. They claim to be brothers, and the doctors easily believe Jake.

But the plan quickly unravels. What was meant to be a few days stretches far longer, and when Jake finally goes to bring Bill back, he doesn’t find the same friend he left.

Jake believed him and he believed Jake. What each man needed most. But Jake betrayed that so then Bill wasn’t even allowed to believe himself.

Moved to a new country a year ago and couldn’t bring my books, had to pack light (don’t worry they’re cozy in a storage locker in Harlem). But I bought them again and the package was waiting at my door tonight and I’m so happy to have them back… some of my favorite comfort books to pick up over and over 😌

Another day another Bill Turcotte edit.

Jake commits Bill for what is supposed to be just a few days, he isn’t crazy but he wants his partner out of the way. Well he unintentionally leaves him there too long. They shock Bill and convince him that none of it was ever true. When Jake returns for him, he is not the man he left there at all.

And of course, Bill had no choice in any of it.

-Dull and with tracks of dried tears on their face

-Eyebrows creased and confused
