So a little back story. I posted this pic and text on April 1, 2015: April 1,2015 By chance Dave met Glenn when he moved to the Auburn Ca area as a teenager in the mid '60s. Glenn took Dave under his wing and was like a big brother. Through the years Dave worked at Glenn's car shop, gaining his own sense of business, which he would use later in his own shop in Oregon. Glenn has owned this '39 for many years and put many thousands of miles on the flathead powered sedan going on trips far away from his Weimar Hills home. 15 plus years ago, he pulled it into the shop for an engine swap, and as it does for so many of us, life took over and the car sat. Well this weekend the car changed hands, from one brother to another. Dave is the new caretaker of this very special car and if you know Dave you know that it won't take long for it to be back on the road. We all agree though that it will always be Glenn's '39.
