Elena (OC) rants about the stresses of muggle transportation during her business trip while her fiancé, Severus, actively listens while trying and failing to control a biological response.
Pixar, let this woman curse like a sailor.
"Well? Get on."
The spare helmet hits you square on the chest before you can comprehend what Evelyn just invited you to do. How can you comprehend anything with the way the leather material of her suit clings so enticingly around her curves? She's already swinging her leg over the seat with the familiarity of a seasoned rider, revving up the engine invitingly as if to command its intense roars to get you to join her. Despite the rumbling of the motorbike, you can still feel the thundering beats of your heart, screaming at you to be more cautious. Your head moves on its own in a hypnotized nod before you realize what you're agreeing to do.
With a gulp, you awkwardly stretch your leg over the seat and fumble your way behind her. You don't know whether or not to anchor yourself by holding onto her shoulders, so your hands grip the sides of the motorbike. She raises a brow at you, and the engine growls louder as the motorbike suddenly jolts forward and stops, drawing out a pathetic yelp from you. It feels like a large wild beast getting ready to speed through the concrete jungle outside her place.
Evelyn, ever the tease, ever the one who toes the line of life's thrill when she feels like it, takes your hands and guides them to her lithe waist. The leather is warm and smooth. It clings to her body like a second skin, and you want to run your hands all over it to get a good feel, but refrain yourself. Your obvious want and adorable attempt at pretending that you're not as entranced by her suit draws out a fond smile from her.
She presses your hands firmly on her waist once more, encouraging you not to be so shy.
"Hold on tight."

Pure adrenaline. Your body shakes with it, as your heart pumps wildly from the intense sensations of the wind blowing harshly at your hair, and the speed of the motorbike that would have you falling off across the highway if you weren't holding tightly onto Evelyn.
Her little quips in an attempt to calm you down are met with colourful strings of curses and panicked yells. Your arms around her waist are your lifeline as the monstrous beast of a machine roars through the city.
You hold on with all your strength, your front pressed tightly against the back of her leather jacket. Can she feel your heart thundering in your chest? Will she wonder if that's how it feels when you think of her too much?
Time seems to slow on the crest of your moments together, then resumes its pace, if not faster, when the bubble around you both vanishes in a blink.
It's when you feel her chuckle more than the dying rumble of the motorbike that you finally open your eyes. "We've stopped moving, you know." Her head is turned slightly to the side, her curious gaze taking in the sight of you still clinging firmly onto her. You're back in the garage.
The engine dies with a flick of her key. She gives you her signature charming smile and holds up her arm, waiting patiently as you hold onto it and get off the motorbike clumsily. You fidget with the straps of your helmet and try to make sense as to how you can take it off. Your embarrassment grows tenfold with the blush on your cheeks when Evelyn raises a brow at your fumbling then reaches out to unclasp the straps in one move.
"So..." She smoothly takes off her own helmet, then ruffles her hair back to its organized mess. "How was it?"

Winston remains quiet for a moment before shaking his head. “Can you at least make a few appearances? It wouldn't do well for the public to ask where you are.”
“That's the public’s problem.”
He huffs. “Evelyn, work with me here. I can't keep defending you from the press. Remember last year during the Shabandar charity dinner? When the people asked me where you were? I told them you were busy working on a new project. Then, Page Six blew up with all those photos of you drinking in the Caribbeans the following day!”
Evelyn pulls away and plops onto her computer chair with a helpless shrug. “I have my own ways of brainstorming.”
“I had to do damage control!" He runs a hand across his face, clearly reaching the end of his patience. “I don't know how many times I've said this, but you need to be a team player, Evelyn. We're a duo!”
“Of course, I'm a team player!” she retorts, rolling her eyes before murmuring, “... just on Team Evelyn.”
I legit don't remember if I posted this here, but whatevs, have a shameless self-insert piece with Evelyn and I ✨❤️
