Princes are active destroying classes. There is not too much more to the class than the utter destruction of and through their aspect they bring. More specifically, Princes can also actively obstruct and deny their aspect, causing it to be shrouded or neutralized. The inverse of the Prince is a Sylph, a passive creation class. The Prince actively destroys and obliterates their aspect to usher in their opposing aspect passively and with guidance.
The Light aspect is about information, illumination, and fortune. It is, in short, everything known and visible to the waking world. In the words of infinitywhale: “Light is everything, but just everything.” This, unlike its opposite Void which deals with secrecy and nothing, does not allow it to be much. However, Light players are very skillful at seeing what is going on around them, and are known to be very perceptive. Light is all that is known, and simply all that is. Because of this, it is often associated with fortuity and fortuitous outcomes, as it deals with what is apparent, disclosed, and perceivable (similar to “playing with ones cards face up.”).
The Prince of Light is the active destroyer of illumination and fortune. They take what is known and they crush it, obscuring it, if their ability as a prince is shrouding then they do it doubly so, shrinking what one is aware of back into the depths, making everything a mystery, and making it difficult for anyone to know anything. They also decimate luck in their grasp, leaving everyone with misfortune. The inverse, Sylph of Void, means that they passively provide the unknown, the void, as a function of decimating light. If one wanted to get more literal, a Prince of Light could literally destroy light, leaving only darkness.
