referring to your tags on the klingon Duolingo post, according to me, op of the post and actual speaker of klingon, the klingon is accurate lmao also I'm curious which translators you used because outside of bing translate (lovingly referred to as bIngan Hol for how nonsensical it is) I didn't realize there were any others?

I just googled “Klingon to English”--it gave me translator.eu and tradukka.com as the first two hits. Neither was particularly good--thus my uncertainty!--but I figured there was only so much time I could reasonably spend verifying Klingon translations at work.

So this is from the wikipedia entry on Jaques: “As a first name, Jacques is often phonetically converted to English as Jacob, Jake (fromJacob), or Jack, but the last is not an accurate translation. (Jack, from Jankin, is strictly a diminutive of John.[3])” And during the last hiatus this was discovered and so people started referring to Jack as “Jankin” for a bit. Like literally 24 hours.
