You waited for this day since your very first day at the military base. Your time at military training wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

You missed the eccentric laugh, weird poses and heavenly voice of your clingy girlfriend too much. Wheein had a rough time too in your absence, you noticed several times how her voice cracked when you had to hung up.

But today you were finally going to see her again. The other members of Mamamoo helped you prepare the surprise. They'll keep her away from home, letting you all the time you needed to set up the surprise.

You put up a really cosy table, no luxurious food planned tonight, nothing was better than her favourite junk food and favourite movie. You'll keep the romantic meal for your proposal in few years.

You got Singapore's chocolate for the occasion since she had some sort of obsession with it, you also decided on a sunflower bouquet. Wheein was never the type to love what everybody else loved, she had her own standards and sunflowers were a part of it and well maybe you were too in a way.

Once everything was ready you sent a text to Hyejin telling her she could get her best friend home now. Not even ten minutes after, you heard their voices in the corridor and proceed to hide.

They entered the apartment laughing hysterically, the laugh you missed so much melting your heart on the way. She was there a single step was the only thing that was separating you.

"Let's take pictures in memory of this evening shall we ?"

You swear you could have kiss Hwasa right now she was doing everything for you to be able to sneak out behind Wheein.

They took few selfies before Hyejin told her best friend she was taking pictures of her alone.

You posed for the pictures getting closer and closer from the clueless pup who was enjoying the photo shoot. Suddenly you let your head lay on her shoulder making her scream and jolt in surprise.

"Wtf!"

"Happy to see you too darling."

You laughed as the realisation hit her letting her eyes pop out of her skull. She jumped in your arms, lifting you from the floor.

"Y/N !"

You enjoyed the hug, noticing Hyejin ready to let a tear drop seeing you two finally complete again.

"Hyejin..."

"I'm leaving have a nice night you two don't be too naughty, see you tomorrow Wheein-ah."

You looked at your clueless girlfriend who asked you what just happened. You brushed it off, focusing on the moment.

"Let's eat baby I know you're hungry."

"I'm always hungry but right now I just want your arms around me."

Your smile grew at her words but you wanted to hear her voice you still had all night to have her in your arms.

"Nevermind I'll give the Singapore chocolate to the girls then."

"Singapore chocolate ! Where ?!"

Your girlfriend didn't wait for you, to detach herself from the hug and head to the kitchen, letting you behind. Maybe you should had wait before talking about the chocolate.

"Yay! You brought me sunflowers ! Oh my god I love you Y/N !"

She was screaming from the kitchen and that's when you realized that you actually missed this even more then the cuddles and kisses. You missed the crazy personality that she was the only one to give you.

"Y/N ! Hurry up or I'll eat all the food alone !"

You chuckled and joined her, giving her a back hug while she gave you food over her shoulder before kissing your cheek.

"Oh and just so you know you're not going away without me ever again."

Mamamoo “Idol S/O cries during award acceptance speech”

Ask:  Mamamoo reaction to their idol s/o, who never cries/shows their emotions in front of others, crying during their daesang speech when it's their turn to speak at an award show due to having a stressful year and all the pent up emotions suddenly letting loose.

Solar/Yongsun: 

Yongsun couldn’t take her eyes off of you, you looked absolutely stunning. Like you were glowing as you walked up the stage to accept your award. “Wahh, I wasn’t expecting this guys...” You paused getting emotional in a way you weren’t expecting. Your year had been rough and your fans new this, Yongsun knew this. You looked in her direction and smiled at her, wiping your tears away. “My year has been difficult but, I had some special people to help pull me through. Thank you guys so much.” You kept your speech short, not wanting to burst out into tears infront of what felt like was the whole world. 

Yongsun stood up as you walked back, immediately engulfing you in a hug and wiping your tears away. “You deserve this.” She said and kissed your cheek. It was seemingly innocent enough as your relationship wasn’t public yet. Yongsun couldn’t have been happier for you.

Moonbyul/Byulyi:

Your hand squeezed hers tightly as you waited for the winner to be called. Byulyi wouldn’t admit, but she was more nervous than you are. She had seen you struggle the last year and between the others up for the award, she knew you deserved it most. “And the winner is..... Y/N.” Your hand went limp in hers in surprise and you couldn’t stand. This was the biggest award you had ever won. She nearly had to push you up and out of your chair to wake you up. “I am so surprised, I could barely move just now. I just, wooow. I don’t even know what to say.” You spoke into the mic and looked at your award and your girlfriend, tears slowly falling. “Just thank you.” You said and bowed, making sure to make it extra long before exiting the stage. 

Byulyi immediately grabbed your hand and used a tissue to wipe your tears. “You deserve this. You really do.” She said, looking at you as sobbed lightly. 

Wheein:

The second your name was called Wheein was cheering, jumping and waiting for to get up and accept your award. As she watched your figure pop up from your seat at a different table, you locked eyes and she smiled encouragingly. “Wow, tonight is just a beautiful evening. I knew this evening would be beautiful, just not this beautiful.” You said and looked at Wheein’s standing figure as you spoke. She was watching you with full attention. “The last year has been a rough one, so I wasn’t expecting to get this award this year. All the artists here deserved this award. So I would just like to share it with them. Let’s have a beautiful coming year.” You said with a soft sob, not wanting to cry infront of everyone but not being able to hold it. 

You made it back to your seat and Wheein subtley snuck inbetween the tables to see you. “You deserve this award. You deserve too enjoy every second of it.” she told you with a big smile and hugged you. 

Hwasa/Hyejin:

Hyejin knew you were nervous as she rubbed your back comfortingly. The cameras were zooming around all the nominees, frankly making you anxious. Only for your heart to drop the second your name was called. Before you even made it up on the stage you were a mess, this was your first ever award. “Thank you, thank you, thank you. There aren’t enough ways to say thank you to explain how I feel right now. I am so greatfull. Everyone around me who has been supportive, I am in your debt. To my fans, I am in your debt. Thank you.” You said through slow tears. Hyejin had to hold back her own, she wasn’t one to get overly emotional when this happened to her but this wasn’t her, this was you. 

You sat back down and she looked at you as you wiped your tears. “Wait, are you crying?” You asked and she shook her head. “No of course not. I’m just allergic to seeing you cry.”

Male Reader

“You should come out and drink with us, it’s been ages,” your friend’s voice calls through the speaker, you glance towards Wheein and she just shrugs.

“I’ll go, text me the address,” you say keeping your eyes on the road, he lets out a drawn-out hum before laughing.

“Your wife isn’t going to be mad?” He teases you glance towards Wheein who’s sitting in your passenger seat knowing he is referring to her, she crosses her arms knowing as well.

“I’m already with him,” she calls out in a sing-song voice leaning closer to where your phone is mounted on the dash, “I’m coming too,” she mutters leaning back into her seat.

“Okay, okay, I’ll send the address, by Y’N, Wheein,” he says with another laugh before ending the call.

“It’s the same place they went last time, we’re not far from it,” Wheein says softly nodding towards your phone, you hum driving the rest of the way to the bar.

You can easily find your friends Wheein following you to the table sitting down next to you and one of your other friends. All of you start playing drinking games, some of your friends were obviously already a bit drunk by the time you arrived. Wheein is the only one who volunteered to not drink, surprisingly, Wheein is usually always down for a free drink, but someone had to make sure everyone left safely. By the time everyone is leaving Wheein is having to hold your arm to support your weight up, grumbling complaints under her breath while she still tries to get the last of your friends into cabs.

You must have fallen asleep in the car at some point because when you wake up it’s the next day to Wheein hitting you on the back of the head. You groan sitting up and she hands you an aspirin gesturing towards the glass of water sitting on the coffee table.

“I bought hangover soup, it’s in the kitchen,” Wheein says with a small smile running her hand through your hair gently, “you look rough,” she says with a laugh.

“Thanks,” you grumble under your breath but return her laugh.

Mamamoo: First I Love You

SOLAR: You were on the phone with Yongsun, as you ususally were on days on which you couldn't see each other. You had told one another about your day and just talked about whatever came in mind. Now, however, it was time for the two of you to hang up. You both said goodbye and without even noticing it at first, she slipped an 'I love you'. There was a short pause on both ends, both of you surprised by the confession. You couldn't hold back a smile when you replied 'I love you, too. Ses you tomorrow.

MOONBYUL: You and Byuli were on the couch, cuddling. You both had a hard day at work behind you and wanted nothing more than to relax. You were so thankful to have one another in this moment, because you knew you could trust and lean on the other person. That's when Moonbyul once and for all realized that she was genuinely in love with you. She had thought about it before, feeling that it was more than just a crush but now she was certain. She put one hand under your chin to make you look at her before telling you from the bottom of her heart that she loved you.

WHEEIN: It was a usual day, both you and Wheein in a pretty good mood. You were spending time together, not doing anything in particular. She suddenly came up to you, wrapping her arms around your waist to hug. 'You know I love you, right?' She asked and you kissed her forehead. 'Let's just say I was hoping so.'

HWASA: You and Hwasa had spent a beautiful date night and were just on your way home. You were walking through a park and the scenery made it very romantic. She suddenly stopped in her tracks and you turned to look at her, your hand still firmly held by hers. 'What happened?', you asked, slightly concerned. 'I just... I've been wanting to tell you this and I think now's the right time.' You waited for her to continue, slightly nervous about what she might say. 'I love you. I really do.', she said and you smiled, giving her a soft kiss. 'And I really love you.'

Solar/Yongsun:

She would try her best to seem tough, but when one particular jump-scare happened she was in your lap with a scream. She would most definitely end up laughing after too.

Wheein:

She’d get so into it. “Scootch over you suck at this. DIE SCARY MONSTER DIE!” Let’s just say the title of your video is now “Girlfriend taks over youtube account”  

Moonbyul:

Also very into it and really wants to kick you off your chair and take over. “Aaaaissh why would you go that way? Idiot.” 

Hwasa:

She’d be kind of jumpy but also really into it. “If you’re scared we can stop.” “I’m not scared.” She’d say from behind your shoulder, peeking at the screen.

“Welcome to the ultimate arts competition,” says Hwasa, “Where there can only be one winner, and the loser will…”

“Buy dinner!” Whee-In interrupts.

You chuckle, but then Hwasa shoots a dirty look at Whee-In. Hwasa gets back into character just as quickly, “Let’s begin!”

Both Moonbyul and Solar hold a sketchpad each. There are two tables with various painting supplies. 

“The mouth painting round! The contestants are allowed to use any tool they want and to paint anything they want, but they can only use their mouths. Any slip of the hand will be cause for disqualification. Any questions?”

“Are we allowed to wear protection?” Moonbyul asks.

“You are not,” Hwasa replies.

You and Whee-In exchange looks to defy the other.

“Start!” Hwasa indicates.

You grab a pencil with your teeth and dip it in paint. You accidentally touch Moonbyul’s fingers with the brush. 

“Sorry,” you say.

Meanwhile, Whee-in went for the crayons. The two of you focus on your creations while Hwasa keeps track of the time. Finally, she yells, “Time!”

Both you and Whee-In spit out the brush and crayon.

“Let’s hear from our judges,” says Hwasa. No one moves. Hwasa keeps staring at Moonbyul and Solar.

“We’re the judges?” Solar asks.

“Who else if not you?” Hwasa replies.

Solar laughs and it makes you laugh as well.

Solar points at your landscape. “I like that one.”

“You’re supposed to be supporting me!” Whee-In yells at her.

“What do you want me to do if it’s better?” 

“I vote for this one, too,” says Moonbyul.

“We have a winner,” Hwasa announces.

You clap for yourself.

Next round.

“Blind writing!” says Hwasa, “The two contestants will write a sentence while blindfolded.”

“Does it have to be in Korean?” You ask.

“Yes,” replies Hwasa.

Dammit. It’s clear who the winner is.

Last round.

“Because we have a tie the last round will be: Funny dance!”

Neither you nor Whee-In can wait. The music starts, and the two of you go absolutely crazy. The song comes to an end, and you and Whee-In end up on the ground shaking with laughter. 

This is the first time Hwasa completely breaks out of her host character by asking, “Why are we doing this, again?”

You and Whee-In look at each other.

“There was a bet…” You say.

“…for some reason,” she finishes.

What that reason was, you never really remember. Something about a challenge, maybe? 

The other girls, fed up, leave you two alone. You both end up sharing dinner, knowing this will always be one of the best days of your lives.
