Their first kiss was in the middle of a challenge, when Elita got tired of how dense Wheeljack was and decided now was better than never.

Wheeljack keeps making things for Elita just to see her more often while still having the excuse that the machines he makes are just to help her and her squad. Elita One notices, of course. A vicious solar flare leaves them trapped together in a shelter until it ends. Baking is a science. Wheeljack is good at science. Elita just wants to know how the food explodes after its made.
