So I thought about this for ten minutes and decided it should be a comic.

A little fun fact/backstory for this comic:

So while I was in high school (and while I was questioning my sexual orientation), one of my friends gave me a rainbow bracelet.

One day, one of my classmates randomly came up to me at the lunch and asked me, “are you gay?”

Now, of course, the matter being no one’s business at that point as well as the matter of “if I’d liked girls, why would I confess to you, who is not close enough to me to obtain this personal information?”.

So my reply was. “N-No...I-I just really like rainbows...”

Turns out I do like girls.  And guys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Chris came home, “tired” from a long day of school. His mother wasn’t usually home until later in the afternoon. However, today seemed like an exception.

“Welcome home, Chris!” He heard her voice from the kitchen. It stung a bit in his heart. “I’m making some food. You want some?”

“I’m not hungry, mom...” He steadied his voice, as to not seem suspicious. “I’ll get some food later, okay?”

“Okay, just let me know when, love!”

Chris went upstairs to the bathroom to finally see the result of today’s endeavors.

Bloody, bruised, and broken. Oh god...

Everything that’s been going on at school lately has taken their toll on him, as well as a few of his friends. They were different, and they couldn’t help it. Worst of all, they couldn’t fight back. All they could do was take it.

And hurt.
