gosh thinking about this weregar au post again. its already such a fun as hell au in concept. yknow. Garroth being a WEREWOLF. IN GENERAL. if only Jessica had made him a werewolf from the beginning the PLOT wouldve gone SOOOO HARD. UGHH. i love and appreciate anyone who makes garroth a werewolf in their MCD rewrites/aus. he is so scrumptious and deserves more emotional turmoil because. YES.

i uhrm. cough. i also just really wanted to draw Garroth with long hair. curly long haired Garroth the world needs to see you... i need to draw you.. youre so delicious to me..

AUGHHH i think about this drawing of them in particular VERY OFTEN. VERY. OFTEN. ugh. ugh i cant get it out of my head. garmau in turmoil WHY ARE YOU THE ONLY FLAVOUR OF GARMAU I CAN IMAGINE??? WHYYY sobbing

i also just like emotionally turmoiled Garroth in general. he is genuinely written so nicely in MCD, i love and appreciate his character so much. theres something so lovely about a character who's closed off and who doesnt reveal who they really are until they admit a truth they cant go back on. its even MORE FUN when theres multiple layers of truths that the character opens up about over the course of the story, leading to them simply existing openly, honestly, and wonderfully.

damnit i really need to keep watching Minecraft Diaries... do it for laurmau garmau and garrancemau.. do it Kray do it..

this time it's Garroth from the Lonna Wedding Arc :3c plus a weregar cameo because I guess I can't help myself

So the Ro'meave family has a werewolf somewhere up the line. It skipped a few generations or manifested very mildly as hairy women and strong men until Garroth.

And Garte is ashamed of him.

So Garroth spends his childhood studying under his father, training to take over O'khasis while Zane learned the faith of Lady Irene, and all this time, he feels this bones-deep shame for who he is. He doesn't make public appearances for a while while Garte brings in magicks experts and scholars to try to fix his son, and when he can't, he settles for Garroth hiding his fur.

Garroth is focused every moment of every day on maintaining his veneer of humanity. Lycanthropy? Not here. But eventually, he flees O'khasis. Trains as a guard, fakes his own death, and starts anew in Phoenix Drop. For a long time, the story stays the same.

And then they get a new lord. And Garroth can't keep his walls up around her. And the village grows and a beautiful man from Meteli moves in, and Garroth finally confides in his two closest confidants who he was and who he is. He expects the worst. But they go on loving him.

And Garroth has never been more afraid.

MYSTREET THEORY

okay I just finished watching the 10 year anniversary and It was SO cute much better than the MCD one in my opinion but the trailer for Faded Memoried got my believing and fingers crossed. It is a more Aaron centered season rather than Aphmau. I really hope most characters (cough my man Garroth cough) come to light with their trauma with Starlight. But recently I've been scared that maybe this season will not be in the immediate set that we want it to be like because its been soi many years since Starlight. I feel like my expectations are too high for it to reach and will be dissapionted!!!! But knock onn wood. WE GOT LAURANCE AHHHHHHHHHH
