“Holmes is not to be trusted.” flags are really pilling out. Xiang Yu’s relationship comment page is heavy with foreshadowing.

He marks both Kiara and Moriarty as a threat, but postpone their execution because both will do a “great service to Chaldea in the future.” Kiara stuff, is probably her role in Ooku where she aided against Kama/Beast III L. Moriarty hints in his interlude he wants you to trust him over Holmes when (something vague) happens in the future. The wording for Moriarty and Kiara are identical, so is Holmes actually going to become a Beast? After Olympus, it’s definitely possible. Zeus was very unsettled by him, and that guy’s arrogance makes Gil look humble. Tamamov refused to address him by his class as with Caenis or Musashi and called him “the coward”, and was sorta hostile against him which makes me think, if he’s also a Beast, he’ll be her L/R.

Anyway, I think the story direction could go to lose Holmes (because he evolves as a Beast?) and “Gran Cavallo” (young “Da Vinci”) because she’s got ‘creaky joints’ like an old woman according to Gordolf, so she’s likely not going to last. Kadoc can replace Holmes and do detective work and work on his self-esteem issues. Captain can fill Gran Cavallo’s role.
