That said, it is important to remind that the original old works of Hetalia did include a range of problematic and offensive content. For those unaware, this included overt depictions of sexual assault and abuse. While we do not condone these works and depictions, we have kept most links to these works for archival purposes (with CW listed), with rare exceptions. We could not in good conscience keep in any links for content that contained inappropriate content involving children, and they have been removed from this list, though they were not many. Introductions: I’m Asahi, a samurai. I’m the representative of Tokohana, the guild of Cultural Public Relations. Since our country has always been constantly at war up until recently, it’s often perceived as a barbaric place. To dispel this prejudice, I wish to help spread our culture around the world.
MC first impression: Cheerful, intelligent, very observant… I guess? My impression has yet to change, even now. She’s a reliable guildkeeper who gives it her all to maintain/achieve everlasting peace.
Tio first impression: Tio shows me training techniques I would have never thought of myself, so I always rely on him. He says he can’t trust humans but… I intend to work hard to change his mind, one day.
Meister you’re close with: I’d say I get along pretty well with everyone in my guild. I’m especially close with Mikage and Aoi-sama since we’ve known each other for so long. I also see Towa-dono often… and Kuchen-dono, too; he contacts me everytime he comes up a new creation (TN: Asahi is a Kuchen fan and a chocolate/sweets? lover). He asks for my detailed thoughts, so I guess he must be a very diligent person.
Shiranui
Introductions: I’m Shiranui, festival musician at the Tokohana guild. Leave all festival matters to me! From small gatherings to large festivals, I’ll make sure every one is the most exciting ever!
MC first impression: She’s hardworking and reliable! I also really like the fact that she laughs a lot; laughter brings in good fortune! And being around her I feel myself more motivated as well. However, she’s a bit too humble at times, so it makes me want to praise her more!
From first impression: From’s amazing! His artwork is incredible! Anyone who sees it will surely be blown away. He seems to always be going through a lot, and he doesn’t have much confidence in himself, but… I wish for him to become more proud. He’s a really good guy, honest to God.
Meister you’re close with: Let me think. Beside Tokohana… I owe one to Magia Seminar’s magic tool maker, Gui. Whenever I want to do something innovative for festivals, I use his magic tools. He thoroughly fulfills every request of mine, so I’m really grateful!
Mikage
Introductions: I'm Mikage, a shadow engineer belonging to the Tokohana Guild. My motto is "I don't wanna work." So, let’s slack off today as well.
MC first impression: Wow, what a diligent and hardworking one. Every time I woke up from my nap, she’d be taking care of a different task. I worry she works too hard and risks getting exhausted; I think she needs to be allowed to laze around like me once in a while.
Mikoto first impression: Mikoto-sama is always in such a good mood, yet he never has anything to do. Even when I try to sneak a nap, away from Asahi, that lord's presence is so strong that I get found out. Well, I don’t mind as long as he's having fun, but I kinda wish he’d just leave me alone.
Meister you’re close with: You know that Demon Lord guy who's into 2D games? He keeps recommending games to me and checking in on my progress. Well, that Magical Castle of his is pretty cozy, so maybe I'll go visit again sometime.
Tamayura
Introductions: …I’m Tamayura, a talisman specialist. I’m in the guild called Tokohana. This fluffy specter floating by my side is Mashiro, a dear friend of mine.
MC first impression: She listened to me a lot so… a kind person. Even when faced with spirits, she faces them directly without fear… she’s a very kind person.
Radius first impression: At first, I couldn’t forgive him. I couldn’t wrap my head around the reason why he thinks of humans as pets… but I’m sure he’s lonely as well. So… even though I cannot become his pet… we’ve started to understand each other more.
Meister you’re close with: Maybe Shiranui… we often drink sake together. Also, there’s someone I’d like to meet… he’s a very popular streamer on Magic Line. His name is Link…
Aoi
Introductions: Aoi from the Cultural Public Relations Guild, Tokohana. Currently, I work as a flower specialist, though the term “geisha” might be more familiar to you (TN: i think he uses flowers to show dreams to his customers)? If you would like to, you are more than welcome to come have fun at the geisha district. I shall show you a dream so wonderful it will melt your heart.
MC first impression: Ah, I though she was a cute girl, so honest and innocent… But I did feel slightly worried: I was concerned the addictive nature of the red-light district might get to her… but my worries were unfounded. Now, I am the one drawn to her inner strength… fufu.
Rindou first impression: So grateful and delicate; he must be very pure. I think it would do him well to learn more about the red-light district. How do individuals who carry so many scars still manage to bloom so beautifully? If it’s Rindou, I’m sure he will become a flower so beautiful that everyone will be captivated.
Meister you’re close with: I’ve had a long-standing, somewhat secretive relationship with Asahi and Mikage… I guess, fufu. Though it’s not just them, I enjoy spending time with everyone at Tokohana. By the time I come home in the mornings, Asahi is already training, or Tamayura can be found sweeping the floor. When I wake up in the afternoon, Mikage is still sleeping, and Shiranui’s cheerful voice reverberates around the house. Now that she has also joined us… I fell like every day is an interesting one. Weird, is it not?

A game where the Hetalia crew tells stories that seem scary but aren't really.
For the 20th anniversary of Hetalia, here our remake and translation of the Hetalian Horror Show! It is currently available for modern Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.
It is now also available to play online!
The game itself can be read in less than 2 hours and is very linear, with only once choice leading to either a 'good' or 'bad' end.
Please do not repost the game without permission.

If you turn on the "Skip unread text" option in the options submenu of the "?" misc menu, you can skip through the game really quickly by either pressing skip or holding down the control key.
Tips for Android version:
Google is implementing changes that will make directly installing apps on Android more difficult, so if the Android version fails to install, try enabling Developer Mode on your device.

When you reach the only player choice selection:
If you select "Let things take their course", this is the 'good end' and all the mind control stuff is revealed to have just been a movie script.
If you select ''I'll stop him", this is the 'bad end.' The player sees Bulgaria wake up to find out that Russia has kidnapped him, tied him up, and stripped him naked. (Bulgaria is shown in a fetal position with his legs drawn up close to his body, such that none of his private parts are shown. Only the side of his butt and a bit of the crack is visible.) However, in the end, Bulgaria says "This is actually a pretty sweet deal!"
Deadly in Love may be the only chance where I can talk about TKDB in a (mostly) positive light...
Dear heart. Dear heart. Damn. How am I supposed to pay attention to what you're saying, Elias? 😭 It isn't present in the original JP audio (I think, unless I heard wrong) but there's something in his person that fits the endearment. Definitely one of the localisation moments I love best.
I always complain about how lackluster and underwhelming Waves of Love turned out to be, so for fairness, I'll happily admit Deadly in Love is the opposite. It doesn't shy away from lore drops/info crumbs and fan-service moments. And probably some minor character developments that don't hinge on vibes alone.
There are probably plenty to comment since it's double episodes and, as mentioned, has a lot of new information... I'm curious who put the question about One-Eyed Sleeping Beauty Murder in the box. If it's not Haku, Elias, or Taiga, then we're left with either Sho, Alan, or Ritsu. And there's a good chance it's not Alan. Interesting...
Can't Haku, or any of the ghouls, just bullshit his way out of the Doubt system? 😂 I mean, compared to all the things there are to know vs what Haku knows, it may be fair to say he doesn't know much ⬅️ okay this one is half-joke. Moving on.
The trial where the ghouls had to take turns to guide MC out of perils is yet another fun and interesting scene to watch and think about. Sorry to Alan and Alan fans, but I think I'd die right away, during the first challenge 💀 My heart would burst and the flood would have been instant the moment he was like 'sorry can you go back, it's supposed to be left'. Dude, pls 😭
In all likelihood, this trial was probably written by matching the challenges with the ghouls. But suppose the order was scrambled? What would happen if Haku and Alan switched orders? Haku would probably be able to guide MC through the maze with ease, but I can't imagine having only Alan's voice to guide me through total darkness while certain monster(s) prowl around 😱
In a similar vein, now that the episode has concluded, I really, really want to see how other intellectual-type (?) characters would fare in the same scenario. Jin and Leo are the first that comes to mind. Leo, especially, since his brand of intellect leans towards cunning. This is, very optimistically, assuming the writers have learned one or two things on how to write ore-sama archetype without reducing the character into a joke (sorry Jin fans 😞)
As for the preview of the next chapter... I don't have high hopes but let's just see anyway

well. joke aside. i feel like I need to write something down after the newest update. spoilers ahead ⚠️
I don't remember if I have said it before, but out of all TKDB episodes, Waves of Loves is the one I like the least. Which is the most polite way I could go about it since it annoys me so much I wished TKDB would just go EOS. Really sorry if it happens to be anyone reading this' favourite 😭🙇 When it was announced last month that May's episode is some kind of reiteration of Waves of Love, I just instantly lost all excitement and not dare to expect anything 🫠
GLAD TO SEE I'M PROVEN WRONG FOR ONCE
Waves of Love II brought a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction its predecessor failed to deliver (to me) even though it's just half of the story. My main gripe with the first Waves of Love comes from the overall underwhelming conclusion of the execution. Like, it was an episode with perfect chances to, if not specifically created for, deepen the relationship between MC and ghouls. But we barely got anything, crumbs that were too insignificant and imp rather forgettable. And that's coming from me who doesn't care about the romantic aspect of the game. There was also not enough showcase about how the ghouls interact with each other despite having six of them in one episode. Also, the case was... Meh? Definitely nothing memorable, the case itself and the way it was explored/concluded.
This time, everything was flipped around. They added more contents to feed players with romantic interest while also catering to those who look for more between-ghouls interaction. The case... I have to admit this is a highly biased and unfair judgement, but setting it up with a hint of thriller does heighten the atmosphere and thus add to my enjoyment.
Talking about unfair judgement, I'm also aware that the cast list has a lot to do with my overall impression. Not saying I'm not interested in the ghouls featured in Waves of Love I, but the newer version features 4 of, were I to list my favourite ghouls, they'll be definitely on top 😅 (Haku, Elias, Taiga, Sho, helloooo???)
On a side note... Haku's VA is getting paid well (I hope) 🤣
When Leo's name was brought up, suddenly it occurred to me that there might be Waves of Love III. Maybe they plan to feature all ghouls (sans Zenji, unless they can make it work somehow) eventually? Please have Subaru and Leo in the same episode, I beg you... That'll be so exhilarating to watch. Murder mystery or something; anything with a lot of potential of drama like this one 😅🤣
All in all, my expectation of the second part has soared up high. I hope the conclusion won't disappoint 😵💫
