it’s always this neverending pattern of: sees rumor about dream, tweets about it to get clout without consulting dream first, gets clarification from dream when they talk personally (usually with dream being the one to reach out), backtrack without any real accountability, repeat.

when will writers learn that the moment your character says something along the lines of “I don’t believe in/there are no coincidences”, you have well and truly fucked yourself? after opening that gate, every detail and decision must be deliberate, specific, and meticulous (which is impossible!!!).

I truly believe ST5 was disappointing & underwhelming bc the writers gave the audience a direct expectation to overthink, review, and consider every possible connection— a task the writers themselves did not and could not do well.
