I'm often accused of having "favorites", when it comes to my students. HELL YEAH, I have favorites. Artists who come to me and WORK will always get the best that I have to offer. Most people say, "Eric, I want it so bad!", cuz they romanticize what hard work looks like. In their minds, it happens in a quick movie-like montage, in which they "give it all they've got" for a few minutes as rock music plays in the background and then fall asleep at their desk. In real life, progress can be slow and the victories hard-won.
